AFRO DEMETER; goddess of harvest.
I come here to talk about how I have to properly plan my photography projects. Sometimes these projects can take up to a month to plan and execute. The results that now emerge are a reflection of how much effort was put into creating the photograph. However, last month, I created a masterpiece out of spontaneity.
Through the course of my career as a photographer, I've created photographs spontaneously, but this one looks so good, you'll think it was the original plan.
Here's a story of how project "Demeter" was created;
On that day, I was creating photographs for a project that I've been planning since last year. The delay in execution was because I hadn't found a proper model for it. Well, that's not the story.
After I was done creating photographs for the project, I turned back to see Brihanna(the makeup artist who's also a fashion stylist and a model) fitting herself into a material we use as a background in the studio. She added some other accessories and looked so good. It felt like it was planned. I had some other clients coming in, so in under 20-30 minutes we had created mind blowing photos.
A creative mind is tested through spontaneity. And Brihanna showed how strong her creative mind was with this piece. Much of this work is credited to her than it is to me.
Few weeks ago I shared the monochrome variants. Well, the colored variants are here. Check them out;
I hope you liked the afro version of the greek goddess of harvest. Lemme know in the comments section which one's your favorite.
Long time no see...
And great return by the way.
Truly long time. My timeline offline has been a mess. It's been pretty hard keeping up with here. I do pop up occasionally to share some good stuff. Thank you very much
The only thing I can say, you took some ,,dam,, good pictures.
Greetings!
Thank you very much for the kind compliment.
Beautiful representation of Demeter. You did a nice job here.
