A day in the life of A Filipino Family Living in the UAE #6: Visiting the Abu Dhabi Qasr Al Hosn Landmark!!

Hi! Hivers!

I hope everything is fine and Ramadan Mubarak to our Muslim brothers. I have not been active for quite long. It a has been a few months since I last posted here. My mind was so full. It felt that I just need a little break, to breathe and compose myself. And I know it is very important to love our mental health as well so I breathe and I free my mind of my worries.

Anyways, It is also almost the start of the summer season here in the UAE but I was still left with some of our memories from the last month. And I want to share them with you guys.

We went to Qasr Al Hosn. This is a historical landmarks here in Abu Dhabi. It is just across our building so we are indeed lucky that it is just a few steps away. I can still remember that this place was completely different from the year 2014 but now is it more modernized but of course you can still feel the cultural heritage.

I told my husband that we should go and visit the area since during cold months they have food stalls and little programs-such there traditional dance. We went there and we were surpise since the place is really like instagrammable. It was a nice place to bond with family and friends. There are also a lot of people. They have different varieties of food option, but it such a shame that we just ate our dinner when we went there so we are not able to buy anything. There was also nice tippi for the family's, little playground for the kids and there was even a wall where you can hang your notes. How cool was that!

It was indeed such a nice stroll on that area, and a very nice surpise from what it has been 7 years ago. And never did I thought that we will be visiting the place with our kids. Time really does fly! I hope that we are able to share and spend our time wisely.

I am sorry for the late blogs, but I do hope you enjoyed our memories from last few months.
