⭐Happy Loy Krathong Day.⭐
- 🌺 Loy Krathong is a ceremony in Thailand that is usually performed in the 12th month, which is the full moon day. And it is the time when the river banks are flooded. Thai people like to put flowers, incense sticks, candles, or things into various artificial shapes called "krathongs" that do not drown, such as krathongs, boats, rafts, lotus flowers, etc., and then float them along the river. With different objectives and beliefs, this year's Loy Krathong Day falls on November 27, 2023.🌺
☘ Loy Krathong Festival is not only in Thailand. In China, Cambodia, India, Laos and Burma, there are Loy Krathong festivals similar to ours but with some differences. For me, Loi Krathong is an ancient tradition that I have seen since childhood until now. My family said it was to ask for forgiveness from rivers, canals, and beliefs about Buddhism. ☘️
❤ This tradition also has value to families, communities, society, and religions, such as allowing family members to spend time together. This allows the community to join together to organize an event, or in some areas where there is merit making It is considered to help carry on the religion. It is also a good opportunity to campaign for environmental conservation in rivers and canals. ❤

Happy Loy Krathing Day! I have seen my Filipino friend there in Thailand post about this too. She has been living there for more than ten years now. We should have been together there but I was called to duty by the government at that time. I love the sparkling lights and everything full of vibrancy and sparkles. Best regards dear and sending love from Ph!
Thank u 😘
