Hello everyone! ❤️

🌶🍅 Enjoy my dinner with the menu: Spicy Thai Pork Sausage Salad (Yum Moo Yo) 🌶🍅

Today is my weekend holiday, and it’s time for Saturday’s dinner menu. I woke up early with a fresh and energetic feeling. It’s a great opportunity to engage in activities I enjoy, and one of them is preparing dinner at home. After enjoying a relaxing morning, I decided that tonight's special menu would be “Yum Moo Yo,” a Thai dish known for its spicy and tangy flavor that brings a sense of freshness and deliciousness.

Making Yum Moo Yo starts with preparing the ingredients. I went to the local market and bought fresh pork sausage along with fresh vegetables like scallions, cilantro, and tomatoes, etc. I also picked some fresh chilies to add spiciness to the dish. The steps for making Yum Moo Yo are as follows : 👇

The ingredients are as follows:

  1. Yor (Thai-style Thai sausage): 200 grams
  2. Tomato: 1 piece
  3. Shallot: 1 piece
  4. Lime juice: 2-3 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
  5. Chili: 5-10 pieces (crushed or finely chopped, adjust to desired spiciness)
  6. Fish sauce: 2-3 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
  7. Granulated sugar: 1-2 teaspoons (adjust to taste)
  8. Chinese celery: 2 stalks
  9. Shrimp: 6 pieces

Step 1: Pound the chili and sugar until finely ground.

Step 2: Slice the Thai sausage into thin pieces and clean the shrimp thoroughly. Then, blanch them until cooked.

Step 3: Add the Chinese celery, shallots, and tomatoes.

Step 3: Season with fish sauce and lime juice, and toss everything together until well combined.

Yum Moo Yo is a dish that can be served either as a light meal or as a side dish with steamed rice, and it tastes delicious either way. Its bold flavors and the contrast between the spicy sausage and the fresh, crisp vegetables make it a standout dish. It’s also one of my favorites.
