Lightning Network's Total Value Locked Hits Over 1,000% Increase A Year

There's remarkable growth recorded for The Lightning Network (LN), which allows low-cost peer-to-peer transactions on top of Bitcoin (BTC). This growth is in payment channels and locked BTC in the last year. The Total Value Locked (TVL) in the Bitcoin Lightning Network is seeing 1,273% increase in a year, amounting to $165 million. This shows an increase from $12.05 million in October 2020 to $165.55 million on October 7, 2021.
