# Back to Bronze - Splinter Stats Season 65 Report Card

It's been a while since I did my season report card but I figured since I'm actively writing on Hive again I could as well start doing the season reports again. It seems like some of its features are not working at the moment but I'll go over everything that I did get numbers on.

Well, this has been an odd season for me. Competition is pretty harsh in Diamond/Champion and getting ahead/on a long streak is really hard these days. It took me pretty long to even get to Champion and even once I did, I failed to get close enough towards Champion II to ever have a shot so I gave up to reach top 50 the day before the season ended already.

As you can see above I finished my season in Silver II. That's because I messed up renting out my cards for the last days. For whatever reason I selected all my cards and put them up for rent, not leaving the 500,000 needed for Champion on the account. This meant I had to start my season in Bronze II and I also got booted from the League of Champions tournament that started while my cards where away. I was a little annoyed with myself but it would have been way worth had I actually made it to the top 50. I've played quite a bit today and already managed to get back to Gold I, so tomorrow I should at least be in Diamond III again.

On the upside I do get to play all the tournaments this season because I could sign up for the lower ones before climbing up again. If it wasn't for the missed League of Champions this whole thing could actually even be worth it.

I played in a lot of tournaments this last season, winning a total of three custom tournaments (one is missing in the list for what ever reason). I have to admit that I really like the new payout structure for tournaments. With these, basically any single tournament that I sign up for is free SPS and it's only about how much I earn. The old system where I would loose my invested SPS if I didn't make top 32 really did not appeal to me, so I'm glad this new system is reducing the risk significantly.

Nothing special here. Overall, the daily loot chests feel a little underwhelming right now, mostly because there's nothing in it that I really care for much. Potions are obviously always cool, as is DEC, but it's been ages since I got a larger sum of DEC and anything but a gold foil legendary doesn't feel too much of a win either. I guess the main problem is that I have all current reward cards maxed out and all additional copies just go to one of my storage accounts where they wait to be used in the land expansion.

Looking at these numbers just feels unreal. You loose sight for how crazy everything is when you just claim and stake every single day. But almost 26,000 SPS in a little more than 2 weeks? That's just insane, I still can't believe how lucky I've been with everything in this game!

Well, the season report feels a little shallow with many of the core features missing to be honest but it's still interesting to take a look at the numbers that are available. Let's hope the rest of the info will be available again soon.

In less than 24 hours the Chaos Legion public sale is going to start and I have no idea what to expect, this is going to a very interesting day! How ever it goes, I sure will have a lot to say about it, so I'll probably be back soon with another Splinterlands article!
