Newbies Guide: Figuring Out What to Write Here on Hive and Tips That Would Help Your Writing.
Figuring out what to write or post here on hive sometimes could be complicated or hard because of multiple factors i.e. writer’s block, lack of inspiration or motivation, etc. but with consistency being very essential, we often still need to find a way to post quality content every day even when we do not feel like it.
For a while now, I have been having issues figuring out what I needed to post and even though I have been writing a lot, most of my articles end up not getting posted so I started making some research, and here are some tips that have been helping me.
Tip 1. Plan your content by choosing a topic, creating an outline, conducting research, and checking facts: planning your content makes it easier for you to figure out what to write on because for me I feel like the moment I have an idea on what to write, I could easily pick up from there.
Also by doing proper research, you could get to write on something you have no knowledge on and you might actually get a spark on a particular topic just by reading about it.
Lastly for this tip, try not to dismiss any topic because you might gain interest in some topics that you least expect to.
Tip 2. Create a title that is both informative and will capture readers’ attention: this is very important as most people would read your content just based on the title ( I am still not great in this area) but there are a lot of contents that are pushed aside because of their title even though the content might be great.
Tip 3. Write your post, either writing a draft in a single session or gradually writing parts of it: sometimes we often feel like we need to write it all down in one go but that is not the truth, you can take your time while writing, and taking breaks on intervals could give you a new light on the topic you are writing on.
Tip 4. Use images to enhance your post: images are very important here on hive because it visualizes your words so make sure to use images that relate to your post but still do not just pack up on random images with little words because it shows a lack of effort.
Tip 5. Write more on the days you feel more motivated to: I would usually write a lot of articles and save them as drafts on days that I am feeling motivated because sometimes as humans we could lack motivation and those articles would come in very handy.
Tip 6: Don’t put yourself in a box: try to be open-minded to different topics, genres, and communities as you could find interests in what you are not used to (with relation to tip 1).
In Conclusion
As writers here on hive especially newbies, it sometimes gets frustrating trying to figure out what to write but we need to realize that even people who are passionate about writing sometimes find it hard to write so when you find yourself in a position that you do not know what to post or you lack motivation, take a deep breath and take a walk as that helps bring clarity to your mind and allow yourself to draw inspiration from the things around you.

The night before, my post is already drafted and by 6am, I'm cross checking and editing. I also give or read it out to my mom and we make corrections together. Lol. It's like a bonding for both of us.
Thanks for this tip. I'll put more work into it.
You couldn't have said it better dear...

Thank you for your article and for stating your source. Some elements of your article, however, don't appear to be authentic. Please take a look at your article and make sure you quote those parts that came from another source; otherwise it will get a DV.
Here are a couple of articles you should follow to make your time in the Hive community more enjoyable and profitable:
I just deleted that part, I am sorry if it looked like I stole part of someone else's article, I usually get inspiration and write them down in my note pad and most times it is both my ideas and the ones I am inspired by so I guess i made a mistake here.
I would be more careful and it won't happen again.
Thank you.
Ah! You didn't need to delete it. I didn't mean that you should. For next time, just use quotations around the statement. Another thing you could have done is to utilize markdown. Check the article I put in my initial response to you regarding markdown.
Thanks for fixing it regardless. I found your article to be very useful.
Thank you so much for reading and I am glad you found it to be useful.
I would check out the markdowns

After figuring out what to write, there is another thing that seems challenging for me.
That is image sourcing. I can seem to find the option that allows one to source images. Maybe I don't know where it is and because of that, I stick to not uploading images unless it's mine.
I don't really understand peakd writing editor.
Check out pixabay.com or freekick.com
You can get some free pictures there.
I know where to get free images but the challenge is how to source then on peakd editor.
After the image, just put a link to the image source. Or if all images are from Pixabay, at the end of the article you can also state, "All images in this post are courtesy of Pixabay."
I've never had an issue doing either of those things.

One thing that works great is challenges
It is my go-to when I get stuck because it gives you an idea of what to write about
And most of the time it brings out something special because you are sharing a little bit of you and your experience to the mix :D
This is a great tip, thank you.
You are most welcome
I have been on Hive 4 years and I am horrible at titles :D
REALLY informative post!!
It is so hard creating titles, maybe someone needs to do a class on them.
