Revolutionizing Engagement on Threads: Leo Shorts
Hi, everyone! The video upload to Inleo is almost ready, and there have been some questions during the AMA about how the video upload will work and if there is a risk of slowing down the UI. With Articles, they don’t make much difference since we open one article at a time. But what about Threads?
In this clip:
- Video upload is currently being tested on the private labs server
- It will only allow videos that follow the correct formats
- The UI will upload one video at a time to the latest and "For You" feed
- A dedicated UI with special features will be built specifically for videos
Videos are intended to enhance the user experience, make the feed more engaging, and support a new area of content creators. We are ensuring they do not slow down the UI or detract from the user experience. The feature is in its final testing phase and will soon roll out.
Videos will be uploaded horizontally for longer formats and vertically for shorts. The UI will enforce format compliance and provide feedback to users for corrections.
To prevent UI speed issues, the latest and "For You" feed will upload only one video at a time as you scroll, displaying only thumbnails for videos not yet uploaded. Additionally, a new feed, the Leo Shorts feed, inspired by TikTok and YouTube shorts, will upload about three videos at a time and feature engagement-focused UI enhancements.
If you enjoy creating and consuming videos, we have an exciting update coming soon for you.

This is what we need right now...and if the uploading, viewing and scrolling is fast then it'll be a perfect combo. But thanks for making this a reality for all Hive users.
Very good. Thanks 🙏
Do you have any predictions on when it will be ready for use?

Wow, I think I just witnessed this, this morning I watched a video on leo thread about the new google video integrated AI, it's nice seeing how much you guys have done for the inleo community, if I'm to make a request; can an Inleo application be made to help users easily access it fast and better just like X.
