LeoFinance AMA | CUB Burn Increased By a Factor of 10x, LeoThreads Performance Update and More!
In this episode of the weekly AMA, we talk about all of the amazing changes happening on CUB.
As we recorded this, the CUB DAO officially went live. This contract now buys and burns CUB autonomously at random intervals throughout each month using the Multi-Token Bridge revenue generated by bHIVE, bHBD and bLEO.
It's pretty incredible when you sit down and run the numbers on the MTB. As of today, the MTB LPs have just $217k in them and have been live for less than 1 month.
As these LPs grow, the revenue grows exponentially. We are currently on pace to earn ~$4,100 in MTB revenue for the month of August. Keep in mind that the MTB has just started on CUB and is still growing. PolyCUB's MTB generated ~$11k in the month of July, so that may be a nice figure to keep an eye on for CUB next month.
As CUB's MTB grows, we'll see even heavier burns. Right now, the DAO is set to buyback and burn over 200k CUB for the month of August.
Next month, we'll likely burn a lot more than that. Before the MTB went live, the total amount of CUB burned since the launch of the platform in March 2021 was 517k CUB. That means that in the month's of August and September, we'll burn more CUB than was ever burned since the inception of the platform.
We're ridiculously excited about what's about to happen to CUB. With the fully functioning DAO contract in place and the Multi-Token Bridge growing in the TVL of assets pooled on it, we're about to create the ultimate DeFi ecosystem. We've waited so long to achieve sustainability and now we are on the cusp of it.

I'm so excited that th future is beginning to happen around CUB. A flip in Cub economics when MTB and DAO goals are hit would make a lot of resilient investors rich.
