What Would You Do If You Had 1M HBD in Savings?
In this clip, Mitch and I talk about some pretty interesting news that's been circling around the Hive ecosystem.
A new whale has emerged. In the past, this would mean that a new account surfaced and bought a lot of HIVE and staked it to HIVE POWER and started voting..
But this is not the past... We're living in a new era for Hive. This whale has bought and saved a whopping 1 Million HBD.
In this clip, we had seen him with 600k. Recently, a few ppl checked his account and saw him climb to 1,000,000 over the past few weeks.
Many speculate he may also be a slight reason for HIVE pumping - since he has been buying HIVE On binance and moving it on chain to trade on the internal market for HBD.
We talk about this and speculate on the future SUCCESS of Hive with this interesting stablecoin model:
- We got a new whale in town that bought 600k HBD recently, his target is to stake 1.2M and if all goes well he'll aim to 4M
- Is it bad to have 1 person owning so much HBD?
- The MCap of HBD is 10.5M
- The worst case scenario is that he dumps and tanks the price temporarily, but it will eventually go back to $1
- HBD is debt to the Hive ecosystem, as more HBD is in circulation, that increases the median price that Hive needs to stay above of.

- The debt Ratio of HBD vs Hive is 5%

- Had Luna not crashed it would've eaten a lot more mCap, it was continuously mooning.

If One Million HBD is the bulk of my funds then I would stake it and almost instantly cash out the earned 20% until I rebuild a fiat nest egg. If I still have plenty other funds available I'll keep staking the 20% rewards/ invest some in HIVE Projects.

Problem with futures is ppl that already has Hive and dont know how dangerous futures can be if that person has no experience they just end up loosing their Hive stack plus way more, yes most of us are adults but thats the sad reality, for Cub yes would be great for the volume generated by the market, regarding the whale it really dont matter to me, Im not someone who lives from past or future, if nothing has happen and he is playing the game as intended then nothing to worry

Wow, if I had 1 million HBD in savings, that would mean about $16,666 income every month. This is really a great income for me, I would continue my investments, I could buy everything I wanted and I would go on a world tour.

With 1M HBD, I would pay down debts for myself and maybe a few other people. Then I would solidify my position as an investor to the point where I can describe myself that way when filing tax returns. Along the way I would DCA both cryptocurrency such as BTC, ETH, MATIC, and
HIVE+as well as precious metals. Keep the principal in HBD savings, then live off the 20% interest.Without doing anything extravagant or foolish, I would use the income generated by that 1M HBD to BUIDL both for myself and others.
