Breaking Things to Make Them Better: Bugs and Updates

Hi, everyone! The Inleo UI has been incredibly stable lately, largely due to significantly reducing the number of existing bugs. As a result, the average user should not encounter any bugs during the day, or they will be very rare. However, this can change periodically because we are constantly pushing new updates, and sometimes we have to break things to improve them.

In this clip:

• The UI is currently very stable with a low number of bugs
• Our goal is to always keep known and indexed bugs under 10
• Major updates can temporarily increase the number of bugs
• We aim to keep bugs low while still deploying new features at a fast pace

For a long time, we built quickly, acquiring a ton of technical debt, which has mostly been cleared by now. We hired a developer who focuses solely on fixing bugs. His goal is to keep the list of known bugs always under 10, and if there are more, I bug him.

Even though we are 99% bug-free, every time we deploy a major update, you may see a spike in the number of bugs. This happens when you build quickly; you break things. We aim to continue pushing out features rapidly and fixing any bugs generated along the way.

The fixes have been occurring very quickly. We recently had a big update with new features and back-end development that caused some bugs, but as of now, they are all fixed.
