My Winter Vegetable crops here in the Unite Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi

avatar
Most of the inquiring and wondering people who pass by my garden say, "it's amazing and they live here in the middle east where it's sandy and hot". My answer is simple,

You just need to dig up the sand to a depth of about 50 centimeters and replace it with rotting dry leaves and fruits and crushed eggshells. Then you can mix it with 10% of sand without small stones.

You just need to know which crop is suitable for the season and if it will last in the heat such as watermelon and melon.

Bitter Gourd

This is what I often plant in this season because it is easy to live, bear fruit, and multiply. It only needs to be watered every second day if the weather is not hot.

It is also often easy to cook with eggs and tomatoes. You just have to know how to cook it properly so that it doesn't taste bitter like other bitters in their partner! Just Kidding!!! hahaha...

This is what it looks like after it blooms. Wrinkled like the faces of guilty people! hahaha... But nutritious! It's like you, fat from eating too much food! Just Kidding!!! hahaha...

Pumpkin and Tomato

I'm a little annoyed with my pumpkin plant. Because it was stepped on by a person who was passing by, I don't know which person. My pumpkins didn't produce well. My pumpkins are not producing well but there are lots of flowers but not enough. I need calcium to support the pumpkin in its flowering and fruiting.

I need to start soaking crushed eggshells and use this to water my crops. This way I can support their growth and development. It's like supporting your partner! You need to water them too! hahaha... Dirty mind! Hahaha...

Did you see my tomato? they are bearing fruit and their growth is fast! And for everyone's knowledge that tomato is not a vegetable, it is a fruit that other ignorant people argue about. LOL

I also have Aloe Vera in a corner that I use on my hair to keep me from going bald. LOL

It's very amazing to see a very small but productive garden in such a warm place!
In a very limited area we can also provide trellis for these pumpkins so it won't bother passersby! That's what we do in school because of a very limited space!

Pumpkin cultivation seems to be in very good condition

Yes it is... ^_^
The pit I made was 60 centimeters deep just for the pumpkin. So that its roots can move freely and get the right nutrients from the soil.

For us planting something in the garden is an ordinary thing, but you are doing something extraordinary by planting in a desert area. Continued success, friend.

Thank you so much!
Indeed, it's not easy to grow a plant in the Desert because you have a lot to consider such as the weather and whether the plant can withstand the heat. ^_^

Wow! You're so smart for that. Yes that's a good idea, digging some part and replace it with something where we can able to plant. Keep it up.
