Where Does Indecisiveness Take Us? Check This Out!

There were times when I found it hard to decide on things, even when it comes to food. I sometimes rely on someone who's with me whenever I have a companion. When I don't crave anything, that becomes the hardest thing for me – deciding which food to eat or which restaurant to dine in.

But just recently, I realized that sometimes being indecisive can lead to a positive outcome for me. Why is that? Check this out.

After my niece and I ran an errand, we decided to eat first before going home. Since SM Seaside has various selections of restaurants, both of us couldn't decide which restaurant to dine in. So, what we did was agree to find a restaurant that offers a unique experience, whether in its food or interior design.

We kept strolling around the mall. It took us a few minutes before we came across a restaurant that truly piqued our interest. The interior design of the restaurant fascinated us. So, without any skepticism, we came closer to check their menu displayed outside. As I checked their menu, it abruptly came to mind that this restaurant is not new to me, and I smiled as I read the restaurant's name above me. It says Harbour City.

I didn't notice the restaurant's name as I only focused on checking their interior design. It's funny! The menu was so familiar to me because I used to be fond of their steamed fried rice back then.

We immediately got inside after choosing the food according to our own preferences. When the waitress noticed us, she gave us a piece of paper where we could fill up our order. They have a unique way of ordering. The menu was printed on a piece of paper with blank spaces under quantity. The customer will just fill it up with the corresponding quantity.

After we finalized our order, we handed it back to the waitress. The waitress informed us that the preparation time would take 20 minutes. While waiting, something bothered me because I was uncertain if the steamed fried rice I ordered contains shrimp. I am allergic to shrimp.

I suddenly stopped thinking about it when I noticed that my niece enjoyed taking photos inside the restaurant. I realized that I hadn't taken any photos inside yet, so I set aside my issue with the food I ordered.

Do you know what captured my attention as we spotted this place? The upstairs area. At first, I thought they allowed customers to dine there, but I was disappointed because the area is exclusively for their employees only.

We supposedly preferred the upstairs area or the area facing the sea where the CCLEX bridge is visible. However, some tables were already occupied, and some of them were already reserved.

So we ended up at a table situated in the center. Although there were still many available tables in the right corner, we opted for the center. We liked it compared to the right corner.

By the time the waiter served our food, I asked him to confirm if it contains shrimp, and his answer was yes. I was a bit disappointed, but it was actually my fault as I didn't bother to change my order. I let it happen.

Although I had brought an anti-histamine with me, I still chose not to eat it as I don't want to compromise my health. I just gave it to my niece, and I ordered a cup of plain rice. I was still satisfied because I like vegetable dumplings.

I realized that sometimes being indecisive is not bad at all, as it allowed me to challenge myself and led us to discover a restaurant with a unique interior design.
