A Celebration of Life

Happy Tuesday Hivers!

Though I'm away from my family and close friends in Cebu but I can still say that I am still blessed because God sent me an exuberant friend who was with me celebrating life.

Yesterday, I celebrated my 39th birthday....(oppppsss age is just a number). It was a little bit different from my normal days because of many greetings and wishes flooded on the messenger from family and friends.

After my long and tiring day at the office, I quickly left the office and attended the holy mass. I didn't inform my colleagues that it was my special day 🤣🤣🤣, I just acted same as normal days.

In the evening, my friend and I decided to eat out to celebrate life. She brought me to a restaurant which I haven't visited yet.

I never expected that the ancient house right in front of us is a restaurant,I thought it was just a residential. You can't immediately recognize it unless you come closer or get inside.

The restaurant serves scrumptious pizza; pasta; fresh salad; and many more. Since I haven't tried it yet, I was excited to get inside and try their foods.

My friend spoiled me lastnight. She treated me to a scrumptious dinner. She didn't allow to split the bill. Oh, I was greatly touched.

Since she has already visited this small restaurant few times, I just let her order our food.

She ordered a glass of mango shake; a plate of fresh salad; and a round of the best seller pizza.

We thought that we can't finish everything but since we enjoyed talking about life dramas we were surprised that we almost finish our foods. We can't blame ourselves because both fresh salad and pizza were yummy.

At around 9:00PM, we've noticed that the waitress was almost ready to leave, she didn't inform us that they will close at 9:00. She just smiled to us when we asked her the closing time. Hmmm, maybe she was shy to distub us.

That's how I celebrated my 39th birthday. Although it was just a simple celebration but it was really a memorable one. My heart is really grateful to our creator for another year he added to my life. He still allows me to see the beauty of his creations. Thank you @franzpaulie for celebrating my special day with me.
