Blog diario- Visita al Oftalmólogo y Óptica- Comprando mis lentes

Espero que se encuentren súper súper bien. ¡Vaya semana! Les quiero contar el motivo principal de mi ausencia: mis lentes. Mi hijo me los partió en múltiples ocasiones jugando y tuve que pegarlos con diferentes productos, pero esto manchó los vidrios y me dificultaba muchísimo ver. Esto me ha perjudicado mucho para crear contenido y trabajar en la computadora.
Es por ello que hoy quise al fin ir al oftalmólogo para un control y actualizar mi fórmula. También aproveché para averiguar en diferentes ópticas sobre la elaboración de mis nuevos lentes. Gracias a Dios, habíamos podido reunir algo de dinero para este momento, ya que la consulta y mis lentes son un poco especiales por el aumento y también son muy costosos.
Afortunadamente, logré hacer toda esta diligencia y en 10 días tendré mis nuevos lentes. Pero primero, me gustaría mostrarles un poco de lo que fue este martes de visita al oftalmólogo. Espero que les guste.

I hope you are feeling super super super well, what a week! I want to tell you the main reason for my absence: my glasses. My son broke them on multiple occasions playing and I had to glue them with different products, but this stained the glasses and made it very difficult for me to see. This has made it very difficult for me to create content and work on the computer.
That is why today I finally wanted to go to the ophthalmologist for a check-up and update my formula. I also took the opportunity to inquire at different opticians about getting my new lenses made. Thank God, we had been able to get some money together for this moment, since the consultation and my glasses are a bit special because of the magnification and they are also very expensive.
Fortunately, I managed to do all this due diligence and in 10 days I will have my new glasses. But first, I would like to show you a little bit of what this Tuesday visit to the ophthalmologist was like. I hope you like it.
El día comenzó lluvioso y tenía que irme en camioneta porque mi papá no podía llevarme. Así que tomé el paraguas y me fui lo más rápido posible a buscar la camioneta para que me dejara en la parada del centro médico. De ahí, debía caminar una recta bastante larga hasta la clínica donde está el consultorio de la Dra. Elena Feo.
Ya había pasado la primera persona y la siguiente era yo. Como había llamado para que me anotaran, ya tenía guardado mi cupo.
The day started out rainy and I had to go by van because my dad couldn't take me. So I grabbed my umbrella and went as fast as I could to get the van to drop me off at the medical center stop. From there, I had to walk quite a long way to the clinic where Dr. Elena Feo's office is located.
I had already passed the first person and the next one was me. Since I had called to be registered, I had already saved my place.
Al pasar, noté que la Dra. tenía todos los equipos necesarios. Su trato fue muy profesional y atento. No pude tomar fotos porque estaba sola y debía prestar atención a todo. Aquí recibí algunas noticias no muy alentadoras y otras no tan malas. Mi ojo derecho no está funcionando como debería y no hubo ningún lente que le funcionara muy bien. El miedo a un desprendimiento de retina es cada vez más probable, así que debo cuidar mucho mi vista.
Luego de que me dilataran las pupilas y me hicieran varias pruebas, mi papá y mi mamá me fueron a buscar para ir a visitar diferentes ópticas.
Al principio fue un poco complicado porque mi fórmula es muy difícil de conseguir y costosa. Pero al final, conseguí una óptica que fue la más económica y donde mandé a hacer mis lentes. Si Dios quiere, me los entregan en 10 días.
As I passed by, I noticed that Dr. Feo had all the necessary equipment. She was very professional and attentive. I could not take pictures because I was alone and had to pay attention to everything. Here I received some not so encouraging news and some not so bad news. My right eye is not functioning as it should and there was no lens that worked very well. The fear of retinal detachment is becoming more and more likely, so I have to take good care of my eyesight.
After having my pupils dilated and several tests done, my mom and dad went to pick me up to go visit different opticians.
At first it was a little complicated because my formula is very hard to get and expensive. But in the end, I found an optician who was the cheapest and where I had my lenses made. God willing, they will be delivered in 10 days.
Estoy muy emocionada porque ya quiero ver cómo me quedarán. ¡Al fin podré quitarme esa incomodidad de estos lentes! Fueron muy buenos y me ayudaron tanto en estos años, pero ya es hora de dejar el descuido y tener unos nuevos lentes. Estoy tan ansiosa que apenas los tenga en mis manos se los mostraré con muchísima ilusión.
Buenos queridos amigos, este ha sido todo por el día de hoy. Un gran día, si me lo preguntan, porque logré al fin tener un rato para hacer lo que necesitaba y me urgía: mis lentes. Ya falta poquito para tenerlos.

I am very excited because I want to see how they will look on me, I can finally get rid of the discomfort of these lenses! They were great and have helped me so much over the years, but it's time to stop neglecting them and get new glasses. I am so anxious that as soon as I get them in my hands I will show them to you with great excitement.
