Eagle chick wet in the storm!

There was intense heat throughout the last month. The temperature soared so much that the pitch of many roads in our country melted and even some areas recorded temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius. Due to which the public life was disrupted and also various government institutions like educational institutions were declared as holidays. Many people even died of heat stroke across the country. However, since the beginning of this month, the effects of rain have started again. It has been raining for the past few days. Also storm with lightning.

A few days ago there was sudden heavy rain at night and thunder storms. The wind speed was so high that many trees were uprooted and the birds in the trees were helplessly lying down, drenched in water. When the rain stopped a bit, when I went out at night with a flashlight, I found some birds completely wet. In the meantime, suddenly the eyes fell on this bird whose entire body including its wings is wet. Later I noticed it was an eagle chick. Although I was a bit scared of its claws so I did not touch it with my hands but took a few photographs and left to let it get enough rest. However, when I got up in the morning it was no longer there even though it had rained all night.

Our house is a little secluded and there are lots of trees so there are a lot of birds roosting here at night. Also during the day there are many different species of birds chirping but the chirping of birds is especially loud from dusk to dawn. We have a pond in the back of our house and lots of plants so there are lots of birds living there too. So if there is a little wind flow, many times the branches of the trees break or the birds fall down. When I was photographing the bird at close range it did not move away but kept looking back at me.
