My monthly #hive income & a question about hive-engine tokens

Hi everyone,

As most of you know, the past few months there's been some new things in my life that have been keeping me at a distance from hive, more specifically there was a day job that I found, which (as per current data) will be only until October

This means that after October, the monthly income I have had the past few months, will no longer be. Therefore I thought to check out an approximate amount of cryptocurrency that is earned via my blogging activities on hive.

What I will be measuring is the hive that is earned the past 30 days and for that I will use the hivestats website. I will not calculate other tokens for now, because I am not sure how I could do it.

If you have any idea about how to calculate the monthly tokens received (other than keeping the totals and checking every month), please let me know

If you enter https://hivestats.io/@yourusername then there is a number of statistics you can see and also your tokens in the hive-engine.

In my case, I clicked on 'Analytics' selected the 'last 30 days' and from there on I just saw the amounts ..

So I see that my Author rewards are 164 USD and 257 Hive (which equals approximately 166 usd, when added to the 24 hive curation rewards) - I used the price 1 Hive is $0.64 which is low at the moment)

If we add the 166 + 164,15+15,32 USD then we have a total: 345.47 USD only the hive rewards (without taking under consideration other community-token rewards such as $leo or $pob etc)

I do not plan to take that money, I wish to let them stay in hive and grow - but it is not bad to know the numbers. On the contrary, I believe that it is vital for a user to know what is going on, in order to be able to plan ahead ... what do you think?

And here comes my question ...

How do you convert the hive-engine tokens into hive/fiat?

I dont think I have ever sold any hive-engine tokens .. so I was thinking of buy/sell some or anyways starting to be more active with the tokens there ..

If you wish to sell them, how do you do it? Do you convert them to hive and then from hive on to whatever you wish?

Is there an easier way you would like to suggest?

I will be looking forward for your feedback on this, as more experienced users than myself :)
