Hola a todos, un saludo especial a los miembros de esta comunidad, hoy tengo el gusto de compartir con ustedes por primera vez, me alegra mucho que exista un espacio como este, para hablar acerca de nuestros familiares y amigos.
Octubre es el mes, con más cumpleañeros en mi familia, después de febrero. En octubre, cumple mi tío mayor, el consentido de la familia, mi tío Moisés, él es uno de los tíos más cariñosos y carismáticos de la familia, el niño de la casa, como solemos decirle. Vivió por mucho tiempo lejos de nosotros, pero todos los años nos visitaba para navidad y encendía la fiesta, pero al jubilarse, decidió dejar la capital del país y regresar a su tierra materna.

Este año, nos reunimos varios primos y organizamos una sencilla celebración para homenajear su vida, su presencia y retribuirle de alguna forma todo el cariño que nos ha dado. Entre todos, reunimos los ingredientes para la torta, los pasapalos y un almuerzo especial y surgió la idea de realizarle una piñata, haciendo que esta tarde fuese aún más divertida.
Su cumpleaños fue el domingo 02 de octubre, lo sorprendimos gratamente y como él es una persona muy alegre, estaba encantado y aunque no toda la familia logro asistir, estuvieron presentes casi todos sus hermanos, algunos de sus sobrinos y varios amigos de la familia y vecinos.
Hace mucho, no celebramos un cumpleaños así, debido a la perdida de nuestra abuela en el 2019, creo que la familia, necesitaba esto desde hace tiempo, ya que estábamos acostumbrados a reunirnos siempre en casa de la abuela y pasar tiempo en familia, pero las cosas cambian y la pérdida del pilar de la familia, no fue fácil, y las excusas para reunirnos comenzaron a llegar, pero es algo que como familia extrañábamos demasiado, así que vimos el cumpleaños de mi tío como una gran oportunidad para reencontrarnos de nuevo.
La fiesta comenzó después del mediodía, se hizo temprano porque la mayoría debía regresar a sus casas en otros Municipios del Estado y retomar la rutina el lunes, así que cerca de las dos de las tardes, los amigos comenzaron a llegar y comenzamos a disfrutar del momento, algunos bailaban, otros conversaban gratamente. Se repartieron los pasapalos, hasta que llego el momento más divertido y el más esperado por todos, la piñata.
Es común que en las fiestas infantiles, se rompa una piñata, a los niños les fascina, sobre todo porque saben que dentro pueden encontrar muchos caramelos, pero en una celebración de adultos no es algo que sea tan común; sin embargo, todos se divirtieron y dejaron salir el niño que llevamos dentro. Los niños estaban un poco desconcertados, pues no tuvieron mucho protagonismo esta vez, sin embargo, nos aseguramos de que ningún niño se fuese sin su respectivo cotillón, lleno de caramelos y golosinas.
Lo que más me divirtió fue verlos con los ojos vendados tratando de atinarle a la piñata, también es un poco peligroso, yo siempre trato de alejarme un poco, porque me he llevado varios sustos, después todos se fueron al piso, tratando de reunir la mayor cantidad de caramelos posible, fuimos niños de nuevo por 5 minutos.
Después de cantar el cumpleaños feliz y disfrutar de la rica torta que preparó mi tía, las fotos no podían faltar, pues ver a los hermanos reunidos no es cosa de todos los días.
Este día me dejo un agradable sabor de boca, me sentí muy feliz de estar ahí y me hubiese gustado que todos mis hermanos hubiesen estado ahí también con nosotros, pero lamentablemente no pudieron, pero pronto se acerca navidad y estoy segura de que planearemos algo para reencontrarnos de nuevo.

October is the month with the most birthdays in my family, after February. In October, my oldest uncle, the spoiled of the family, my uncle Moisés, is one of the most loving and charismatic uncles in the family, the boy of the house, as we usually call him. He lived far away from us for a long time, but every year he would visit us for Christmas and light up the party, but when he retired, he decided to leave the capital of the country and return to his motherland.

This year, several of us cousins got together and organized a simple celebration to pay tribute to his life, his presence and to give him back in some way all the love he has given us. Together, we gathered the ingredients for the cake, the snacks and a special lunch, and we came up with the idea of making a piñata for her, making this afternoon even more fun.
His birthday was on Sunday, October 2nd, we surprised him pleasantly and as he is a very happy person, he was delighted and although not all the family was able to attend, almost all his siblings were present, some of his nephews and nieces, and several family friends and neighbors.
It has been a long time since we celebrated a birthday like this, due to the loss of our grandmother in 2019, I think the family, needed this for a long time, as we were used to always get together at grandma's house and spend time as a family, but things change and the loss of the pillar of the family, was not easy, and the excuses to get together started to come, but it is something that as a family we missed too much, so we saw my uncle's birthday as a great opportunity to reconnect again.
The party started after noon, it was early because most of us had to return to our homes in other municipalities of the state and resume our routine on Monday, so around two o'clock in the afternoon, friends started to arrive and we began to enjoy the moment, some danced, others chatted pleasantly. The snacks were distributed, until the most fun moment arrived and the most awaited by all, the piñata.
It is common for children's parties to break a piñata, children love it, especially because they know that inside they can find lots of candy, but in an adult celebration it is not so common; however, everyone had fun and let out the child in us all. The children were a bit disconcerted, as they did not have much prominence this time, however, we made sure that no child left without their respective cotillion, full of candy and treats.
What amused me the most was to see them blindfolded trying to hit the piñata, it is also a little dangerous, I always try to stay away a little, because I have had several scares, then everyone went to the floor, trying to collect as much candy as possible, we were kids again for 5 minutes.
After singing happy birthday and enjoying the delicious cake that my aunt prepared, the photos could not be missing, because seeing the siblings together is not something that happens every day.
This day left a pleasant taste in my mouth, I felt very happy to be there and I would have liked that all my brothers had been there with us too, but unfortunately they could not, but Christmas is coming soon and I'm sure we will plan something to meet again.

Me encantan las reuniones familiares de este tipo y las echo mucho de menos. En mi familia ahora somos un grupo más reducido que se reúne porque muchos de mis tíos y mi papá ya no están con nosotros y algunos de mis primos se han ido del país.
