"You said fondue for 1 on a summer night? Or do you want something else?"

While I was staring out of the window today seen the showers pass, I was thinking for no reason about summer evenings outdoor and how chill it is to eat outdoors (except for eating outdoors in Holland, you will be attacked by wasps looking for protein).

Earlier in the week I was looking at places to eat in the region and I found my snaps of a small local place called Gusto040 which is outside the city center in the city of Eindhoven.

With not such a big menu there is still always enough to choose as ofcourse a pasta with clamps is never one to go wrong with.

But when you would ask me the main reason why I go to here for food, it because of the 1 person cheese fondue which you are able to order here.

And yes this is the classical one but you also have the vegan option with vegan cheese but still in a portion for one. Where else could you get this? Nowhere!

And this was actually the reason why I have been here a couple of times already. Because no one else Swiss people has such love for cheese fondue I think haha. But you always need to share it. Except for here. Here uou can just order it by yourself without being embarrased.





So what else about this place here. Well it is outside the city center as written and that is a good thing as I find not everything should be center located.

Because of this the place has quite a big terrace and always enough space to drop by for a bit or even for a beer with a small snack.

The cool thing about the menu? Yes it is written on this album record which you need to take out of the cover to read the menu.

However I remembered that I was shocked about the prices of the dishes at this place when I visited over the summer. Ive been here more often over the last couple of years and it was always this affordable easy place to check in to.

But this was the first place in the summer that I realised that inflation was starting to kick in.

We have our own solution to this right. Write on hive about the food and get back the rewards. Is @waivio already working? I would love this over here and would be a big user of it.

What an easy place to have a nice summer evening. I could also imagine this place when it is snowing and then be indoors (suits the cheese fondue) but I will surely be back then.

Hopefully with some more food blogging aside with it ;)
