And all of a sudden...there was snow in March!

All of the heads were turning towards spring already. People were trying out what kind of skirts and shirts they should start to wear on the first day of double digit temperatures. Buying snacks for outside, working in the gardens..getting ready!

Cleaning the barbeque, making invitations for garden parties, getting the tanner out for those white legs, damn...we are all looking forward to it!

But the predictions were already starting to make this a bit more complicated at the end of the weekend starting to talk about that the white gold would start to fall out of the sky again.

But Dutch predictions about the upcoming weather..well... let's say the warnings are always a lot earlier there than the actual weather.

Up until this time...this time it was different. This time there was already slush on the sidewalks in the morning and the rest was turning whiter and whiter by the hour.

Snoooooow!





And what better way to take a look up close than heading outside for a bit to see what kind of contrast the snow is leaving behind on the colorful nature which is already starting to sprout again.

Still this was all taken in the morning when the rest wasnt that white as yet. Who cares? I just love it when all of a sudden these surprises are there.

But how it all turned out? Well the dame as it usually does in Holland. Faster in slush than ever and just with some roofs (except for the ones with weed growing stations and bitcoin mining rigs ofcourse) remaining white.

Nevertheless. This was sometimes nice again to see, but...we can only hope it didnt bring too much damage on the crops which are just starting to grow.

Nature is delicate from that perspective.
