A small recap on 2022

avatar

It is almost the end of the year which means it might just be the time to take a step back and look a bit critical on all what you have been doing last year. A time to make up the balance and see in what direction the scale was hanging again.

HIVE

Let's start with the good old Hive and whatever is happening in there. I think the price of Hive is very much accordingly to what the crypto market in general is like at the moment. Medium sentiment, medium vibes, medium prices. But Hive was alive again last year and the the base is still good.

I had the chance to visit Hivefest again this year, which was really easy since it was in my home country. There were still a lot of people there, and the vibe as again really good.

And the funny thing about all of Hivefest....

no one talked about the price of Hive...because it wasn't relevant

Travel

2022 was a good year of travelling for me as I was fortunate enough to get to visit a lot of places again. I started off with some snow in the Swiss mountains visiting friends which was more social than actually skiing. Spain was a small getaway for a weekender, we got to go sailing in Greece (and that tasted like I want to learn how to sail a lot more, but that is work in progress), the Dutch coast was also a fantastic place to visit and I am appreciating more and more every year.

Also the Chianti region in Italy was a place that was tapped into and I really loved the vibe of. Maybe one day this would be a place to chill out during the winters as snow but also good weather are optional here.

And last but certainly not least Thailand was visited and was also just fantastic and has never let me down

Wow when I put it like this I was a lot gone actually, and that is a good thing about reminding yourself what you all did this last year. 2022 was a good year of exploring again.

And what else?

Well, 2022 was also not the most succesfull year workwise for me as I am trying to switch jobs in a different direction heading out for something new, which isn't that easy actually. It means I am back in school for myself, it means I have applied for a couple of different jobs already and had the same amounts of declines which is not the best for the self confidence admittingly.

But luckily it also means that in the very near future it seems to be paying off and that part of disappointment and stress coming from it will almost be in the past again as it seems. If it will be the right step? That we don't know, but it is time for some change again, and change didn't mean moving (again) to a different country this year.

So what about the upcoming year?

That is a good question actually, as I tend to not look that far ahead normally. I know I still have to work a bit on the integration proces in Holland again as I didn't do that much actually in all of that covid time, and it means I tend to get bored every now then (which isn't a bad thing...bored is good sometimes).

But is means I want to have more going on in a good way, and that will surely happen.

But the most important thing of all in 2022.... we all ended it on a good note again in health, which is actually the most important thing and greatest good of all. Without good health, that changes everything.

So again... gratefull for the good health all around us and hopefully this will continue in 2023 again! Cheers guys!

It looks like you had a good year! What is the 'integration process in Holland'? Is that like a visa thing or something else? That photo of the vineyard in Italy is just stunning!

Hehehe this sounds familiar and makes it a challenging age as everyone is really busy with their own stuff. And that means that I have to keep myself occupied as well with something :D

I have applied for a couple of different jobs already and had the same amounts of declines which is not the best for the self confidence admittingly.

Good luck with that and happy new year! Let's look forward to good things !

are you hoping to move away from being a nurse or to specialise in a different area? Hope you will land on the ideal job next year.

Im moving more towards teaching in healthcare so staying in the field, but next to that also just a bit in a different role (especially with the shortage of staff we need more people and someone has to train them..interested in a new career choice?? :D)
