Favorite Dish When My Appetite Decreases

Have you ever experienced a decrease in appetite? Sometimes I experience that. When my appetite decreases, I am very picky about the food I will eat. But when my appetite is normal, I can enjoy whatever food is available on the dining table.Today my appetite is not good. Maybe because I just woke up at 4 pm. My appetite disappeared in the dreams I couldn't remember. After getting out of bed, I went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face, then I brewed a cup of coffee accompanied by a piece of white bread so that my body would get energy for activities.

When the night around 8 pm my body began to feel weak. I know I need to eat soon, but my appetite really hasn't improved. Finally I decided to eat one of my favorite dishes, Chicken satay. This dish is usually the last choice when I'm confused about what food to eat. I immediately went to a chicken satay shop called Sate Ayam dan Kambing RSPP which is not far from where I work. This shop has only been around for 4 months selling around here. Because I saw that this shop was always full of buyers, I was curious to taste how good the chicken satay was at the RSPP shop.

Arriving at the Sate Ayam and Kambing RSPP shop, I immediately ordered 10 skewers of chicken satay plus pieces of Lontong (rice cooked and then wrapped in banana leaves). It's true, the taste of the chicken satay here is really delicious. The peanut sauce sprinkled on top of the satay really didn't disappoint my taste buds. I really like processed foods with slightly sweet peanut sauce. Maybe it's because I'm Javanese, people said that Javanese people like sweet foods. But I have to admit, I like sweet foods. Then the pieces of chicken meat are also quite large and grilled perfectly. I watched the process of grilling satay at the RSPP shop. The roasting uses coconut charcoal so that it tastes better. The price for 10 skewers of chicken satay plus 2 packs of Lontong and a glass of sweet iced tea at the RSPP shop is IDR 35,000/2.45 US$. Reasonable price for the taste of this dish.

After finishing eating my favorite dish, I immediately went home, then enjoyed a cup of coffee accompanied by the music of Karma Chameleon singing by the Culture Club.
