Terracore - Read this before upgrading your Engineering further

By the end of this blog, new players will get a decent idea about why upgrading Engineering on the before time is not recommended at all.

The Engineering is the stat in Terracore that decides the amount of scraps you will mine every hour. With each upgrade it improves the amount and so players focus on upgrading it more compared to other stats.

I was reading a blog yesterday by a user who shared his Terracore journey and his battle log was really heart breaking. The win to loss ratio was not looking good.

The thing that shocked me was he wrote that he was planning to upgrade engineering to earn more scraps in lesser time period.

If his current engineering level is not defendable by his current in game defensive stats then what is the point of upgrading engineering further ?

There is no point in that because this will end up in a mega robbery for himself as other players will see more loot with same stats. So he will lose more than he will claim by the end of fourth hour.

When to Upgrade your Engineering

In the beginning when you join the game go with improving the defense. With time you will observe and get to know how many scraps are safe in your mining section before someone decides to attack you.

If you are observing attacks before the four hour is completed then you should first go with upgrading the defense.

This will first help you defend your scraps for atleast the first four hours after which you get a claim and an attack that you can use.

After observing your stats for day or two decide whether you want to upgrade your engineering or not. The thing you have to keep in mind is that you must observe.

Here are my current stats with which i am safe from getting attacked for the first four hours atleast.

My defense is 80 and engineering is 5. I am thinking of what to upgrade next in the line. I might go with engineering or attack, i will decide that soon.

So in the end i would like to say that don't get trapped in greed of earning more by upgrading engineering only. It will not benefit you but only others who will rob you and loot your scraps.
