Are there any funny or scary traffic rules in your country?
Assalamu alaikum ,
Let us talk about traffic rules today. majority of us must have a vehicle and so we should be aware of basic traffic rules of our respected countries.
In india you can be fined upto 23000 indian national rupees for breaking traffic rules (this is approx $290 ). i don't know about other countries but for a middle class person in India it is alot of amount.
With that known i would say that always follow the rules and never try to break them. So what are the traffic rules in your country , share some rules that is really different and funny or scary according to you.
Let me now share some rules that in my opinion should be withdrawn or changed. If a traffic police is checking your papers for the vehicles and you have all the papers with he/ she ( traffic officer) can still charge you upto 2000 inr.
How is that possible right ? The were cases where officers reported that when they check the paper of people few of them try to misbehave with them.
So if a traffic officer thinks that you are misbehaving with him then he can charge you with 2000 inr. I don't think this is a good rule in my country and there are two reasons for that.
officers are also human being and they can use this law in the wrong way.
Because of very few exception cases where misbehaving was a issue this law was created for all.
Will they create a law for officers who misbehave with people ? will they be charged ? i guess no one even bothers to talk about common people.
What officers will do is threaten common people and ask for bribe. This has been happening for years now. if you don't wear a helmet give 100 inr and he will let you go.
I must tell that if you pay the fine properly it goes to the government but if you give bribe it goes into the pockets of officers. There is no record about you paying fine.
So in my opinion atleast if not removing this law atleast it should be reformed properly. What are your opinions about the same ? do share in comments below.
