Happy friday to everyone. And welcome once again to @kadosmenorah's art corner, wishing you all a great weekend and many blessings. Today I wanted to recreate the character of the naughty boy from the Simpsons, little Bart. Having said the above, I wanted to recreate Bart in his kawai version from a reference image, which I leave at the end of the post. I have always liked doing this style of drawing because of the characteristic tender expression of the characters, and the cleanliness of the lines; Therefore, when it comes to making a drawing, it is one of my favorite cards that I really enjoy. The finish was a sticker type with a silhouette. I made this drawing with Adobe Illustrator. Hope you like!

Y bienvenidos una vez más al rincón del arte de @kadosmenorah deseándoles un excelente fin de semana y muchas bendiciones a todos, Hoy quise recrear al personaje del chico travieso de los Simpsons, el pequeño Bart. Dicho lo anterior quise recrar a Bart en su versión kawai a partir de una imagen referencial, las cual les dejo al final del post. Desde siempre me ha gustado realizar este estilo de dibujo por lo característico de expresión tierna de los personajes, y lo limpio de los trazos; por lo cual a la hora de realizar un dibujo es una de mis cartas preferidas de las cuales disfruto muchísimo. El acabado fue de tipo pegatina con silueta. Este dibujo lo he realizado con Adobe Illustrator. Espero que les guste!
PASO A PASO/ STEP TO STEP
Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)
Lo primero que hice fue recrear el boceto a partir de una referencia de Bart en posición de pie y a unos 30 ° de rotación más o menos. Después con la herramienta pluma realice el delineado con puntas redondeadas. Quise conservar sus puntales de su cabello, los ojos los dibuje estilo kawai eliminando sus ojos redondos por unos más ovoides con círculos y estrellas en su interior muy propio de este estilo. Por otro lado elimine la nariz para hacer el dibujo más plano y minimalista.
The first thing I did was recreate the sketch from a reference of Bart in a standing position and at about 30° rotation or so. Then, with the pen tool, outline with rounded tips. I wanted to keep the tips of her hair, I drew her eyes in a kawai style, eliminating her round eyes for more ovoid ones with circles and stars inside, very typical of this style. On the other hand, eliminate the nose to make the drawing flatter and more minimalist.
Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)
Empecé a darle un color base de manera general, respetando los colores del personaje de Bart original Eligiendo color amarillo Caterpillar para la piel, rojo para la camisa y azul para los zapatos y el pantalón. Después aplique zonas de sombras y partes iluminadas y por ultimo dibuje una silueta blanca de Bart para recrear el efecto de pegatina.
I began to give him a base color in a general way, respecting the colors of the original Bart character. Choosing Caterpillar yellow for the skin, red for the shirt and blue for the shoes and pants. Then apply shadow areas and highlighted parts and finally draw a white silhouette of Bart to recreate the sticker effect.
