Mt. Borah Idaho

We drove by Mt. Borah on a cross country road trip a couple months ago. We began the day on the west side of the Frank Church wilderness, and drove south to Council Idaho where we find a few dirt roads to cross country around the bottom of the wilderness area to catch the highway that leads through the Sawtooths to Stanley, Idaho.

After lunch in Stanley, we continued on to Idaho falls and right past Mt. Borah, Idaho's tallest peak. The weather was gorgeous and exactly what I imagine when I think of the great wild west.
