I will like to share with you some essential tips to note before and during driving. Thanks to technology which has been able to lift humans from the age of animal transportation to mechanical transportation.

What Really Happened?

I read about a married woman who got involved in a fatal accident.

Though she lost her life in the process due to her cause. It is essential to note when driving mistakes are inevitable so you must be cautious of it.

The woman saw her husband having affair with another lady and in the process of living the premises where they were, her husband was surprised to see his wife in her car. But as she sighted them from afar too, she decided to speed up in order to catch up with them probably give the lady the last warning of her life.

She never knew that will be the last day of her life. She drove speedily to catch up with the husband in a hot vehicle chase and never knew when she skidded of the road to a tree trunk. The vehicle got damaged beyond repair and she lost her life. This sad story happened in Calabar, Nigeria.

• Do not drive when you have emotional distress.

The married woman was emotionally distressed on sighting her husband car and another lady in it. She drove in that anger and you know we ladies aren’t perfect like the men when it comes to emotions.

The men could forget things easily but it’s not same for women. If you are emotional distressed please seek a driver or use the public transport if you are emotionally distressed or angry.

• Don’t drive when you are sick

Some people manage the situation to drive but what if it’s a seizure? Or it involves the victim fainting? Who will control the vehicle? If you are ill please do not drive.

• Do not drive when you are drunk

I have heard of several celebrities who did so and were not successful in telling their story. They lost their life in the process. If you must get intoxicated, don’t drive and if you must drive, don’t drink. If you wish to celebrate a party which involves you to drink, seek for a driver.

• Ensure you are trained and certified in driving before putting a vehicle on the road.

Run a check on your car, before setting it on the road.

Safety is of importance to all road users, the more you take care about it the safer the next person in his or her vehicle.
