It's a miracle when the 700 year old buildings still stand tall, still functioning well and still telling stories about their history.
In many other places, buildings only last decades, then rot with age.
It's great to walk into the past like your trip and it's been an eye opener to how past lives were going on there.
I love books, but the books there are really sad because they rarely get touched.

I'm glad to hear that as sharing a post with the community should be like taking the community where I've been, virtually.
About the 700 years old buildings, these are protected monuments now, so the city is restoring them whenever there's need but there were other times in my country, when old historical buildings were demolished, to cancel history and rewrite the past.
