Kinder, Bulalo, and Halohalo in Jagna

Yesterday was another day out of the house, we had errands to do and had to visit the bank as well. Unfortunately, the nearest Metrobank branch is two towns away so we decided to do groceries too in Jagna since there’s a big grocery store there that sells butter and cream cheese and I have been craving that for in a long time now.

The travel time from our place to Jagna was 15-20 minutes, we went to the bank right away, thankfully, it only took 15 minutes, then we headed to Bohol Quality and bought some supplies. We have a youth activity on the weekend and so I bought some popcorn and cheese powder too for their snacks. I am planning to get a buko salad to pair it too and maybe some hot cakes.

Now, after that, we have to also get our car washed but it was noontime. We first thought of going to Mcdonald’s’ but there were so many customers so we thought we should try another eatery nearby. We stopped at ABL Bulalohan and they have a cafe next to it too which offers milk tea and snacks.

We went to the second floor and ordered their Bulalo special, tonkatsu for Matti, and halo halo for dessert. The waiting time was just less than five minutes and so we have a hot soup right away! The soup was good but the meat was not tender, my husband complains, he has to chew this else his tummy will be complaining!

Matti on the other hand liked the Tonkatsu but for dessert, he requested the surprise egg! I dislike getting a surprise egg now because we always get the same kind of toy but he really insisted! And my guess was right, he had this toy before for a lot of times already but anyway, the chocolate was what he was really after!

As for the halohalo, surprisingly, this was good! I like that the shaved ice was also not sticking too much to each other. The flavors were there, the ingredients were buko strips, ube halaya, some beans, gelatin, and more. There were three scoops of purple icecream too!
