Enjoyed the Company of Friends
It's nice to have friends around, having them makes life better. It's just good to have different friends of different ages. When I talk to young ones, they are filled with many questions about uncertainty, the what ifs, the what about this, and what about that. They are filled with so many wonders, they want to experience a lot of things, go to different places, and travel here and there.
On the other hand, when I talk to grown-up friends, I am able to learn from them, receive knowledge that I have never learned before, and know places and things I have never experienced, but at the same time, I am able to also partake things that they too have not known. It's surprising how we could learn from each other.
The best thing about this though is that we are with the same faith. So, the thing that glues us together is our faith. Faith in Jesus makes our bond more special. I love spending time with these people, just growing together in our knowledge and love of the Lord.
These moments were taken after our sister church's service in Cabugan, it's in the countryside part of the town. I asked them if they would want to join us in Masayag and they agreed. So we took photos for memories because one of the young people will be traveling to Brunei to work so this one also served as a Despedida sort of thing.
After our fellowship here, we went to the barbeque grill in town and had dinner together. We treated them and then we had ice cream too afterward! It was a fun night. My husband and I dropped them home, it is very important for us to be good shepherds to this younger generation knowing that they need guidance and advice. I told them that if they need anything, we are just one chat away!
