Car Poses with Fuji

Sharing with you some shots taken with the Fujifilm X-T1 with 7 Artisans 35mm f/1.4.
This happened on the weekend when we visited Masayag again and just enjoyed the view. Algie asked to get her photos taken again. These images were post-processed on Capture One 22 except for the skin, there was no skin correction made here so you can see her pimples and other skin imperfections but I surely like the colors, especially in those pictures where she was inside the car!
It was past sunset when we took the later photos and so I had to bump the ISO setting. I also was taking the photos wide open at f/1.4 but maintained my shutter speed at 125. Unfortunately, this lens was a manual one so it was super challenging to get photos immediately without checking if I was in focus. The camera does have a focus peaking option and my husband made sure to set it to red color so I can easily spot it but still, it was challenging for me who had been using autofocus lenses!
My husband specifically told me that he had been very into manual lenses lately because it slows him down. Unlike having autofocus lenses where we can just point and click the shutter, with manual lenses, you'll be adjusting the focus ring to get the right spot.
I think manual lenses are nice and they have their own beauty but they aren't for me. Anyway, I am happy that there were still sharp images even if this girl was moving a lot and laughing while I was taking her photos.
Thanks for reading! I know you have seen Algie a lot of times now but she's the most confident one of the group of young ladies! Teehee! But I believe this would be the last time that I will be sharing her images because she'll be traveling to Brunei by Saturday and so she won't be my model anymore!
