Looking at an image with the mindset of capturing it and translating it into a digital image is a fun exercise. As a camera's lens sees the world differently than our own eyes, it is weirdly satisfying to produce life-like images. At other times, images can turn into a really intense artistic creation or dramatic representation of reality.

Shooting photos using a mobile phone has really improved by leaps and bounds, but it is a different thing altogether. With the smaller parts, lens distortion is more pronounced and how the colors come out depends on the manufacturer and app settings. It is also noteworthy to say that looking at a DSLR's viewfinder is vastly different from looking at an image on a phone's screen when doing a shoot.

For today's post, I tried to see if a cheap mobile phone from five years ago can capture good images with layers and colors as a theme; I thought that a little bokeh, without the bokeh function on the app, will also be nice.

4. I'm not sure what this plant is called but it's a really cool plant because the leaves fold up at night. :)

The new normal is slowly being molded by the events happening around the world and how people and governments respond. The pandemic situation is still here and we are all forced to adapt to it the best way we can.

The silver lining in this situation that we are all in is that we get to spend more time at home with our families, more time for personal development, some exercise, rest for the overworked, and relaxation. Others are in a bad situation while others are better off working from home. Ultimately, it is how we respond to the situation that creates our own reality and new normal.
