A day well spent | Belated happy mother's day y'all!

Mother's Day is a special day for all mothers. We celebrate it to honor them and express our love for them. It's our time to thank them for everything and our turn to take care of them. Nothing in this world precious than our mother.
Seeing my mom happy was priceless. Her smile always brightens my day, and I'm grateful and proud to have a mother like her. She is my super hero, my home, my everything. She will do everything for us and will give us anything she can. She's worked very hard since I was a kid. She's the only one who works and provides for all our needs every day. She even sent me to a private school despite the fact that tuition is somewhat expensive. I can always feel her love and concern for us, and she is always there to check on us when we are unwell or sick. She's my enemy and my bestfriend, and I don’t know if I would have been able to be where I am today without her.

We celebrate Mother's Day happily and full of love. My mother's friend came over to our house to celebrate Mother's Day with us. She's become part of our family and my second mother. She's very kind, friendly, helpful, and good at cooking. Whenever there is a special occasion in our house, she is the one who prepares the food, which is always great and delicious. Happy Mother's Day to her. She deserves to be loved for being nice to us. I also met her two lovely daughters. Moreover, we also did karaoke, ate some snacks, and talked together. It was a wonderful day with them.

DIY birthday pre-shoot

My cousin and I also decided to make a DIY pre-shoot for my lovely niece. We constructed the DIY flower for her pre-shoot background. She's so adorable and cute even when she's naughty, and we're having a little hard time taking photos of her because she doesn't smile and is busy with her toys, but it still turns out so beautiful and I love it!

Church day

So since Mother's Day was celebrated on Sunday, my favorite part of the week was going to church. I usually go to church every Sunday, and it was a very nice feeling to go to church and pray. It was so comforting to hear the word of God and the gospel songs. Going to church is my way of expressing my gratitude to God for all the blessings we have. This church I always go to is located in Compostela, Cebu City. The church is really my safe place, and I am in love with it. And as I watch it, I miss being a youth and a choir member.

I used to be a member of the youth and choir in our church back then, but then a pandemic struck, and it was the last time I served in church. I was happy serving God with them, meeting new friends, served together, and what interests me most in serving in church were the programs and activities. It's so much fun, and there are a lot of things to learn while helping the church and the people as well. I love to serve, but it's sad to think that I can't still go back, and I really miss them, but our memories will be my forever treasure in my heart.

After the mass, I went to this place in Compostela called "the seafront" to get some fresh air and enjoy the view. This place wasn't the same as before because it was destroyed by typhoon Odette last year. She was a bit strong and destroyed some of parts our properties, houses, trees and more. It's a bit of a mess now, but it still gives me chills and relaxation. The sea was so calm and the air was so fresh. It's perfect for talking with friends and family and food trip because they also have a food park where you can have lunch or dinner.

Mom brought me one of my favorite fruits, the mango, when I got home. This is Indian mango, and we usually call it "mangga," and it has been my favorite since I was a child, especially when it's sour and I top it with salt or "bagoong," or fermented seafood paste. The "mangga" that mom bought me was not that sour but it still delicious and I ate it all.
