Welcome my dear mercenary travelers of the internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, a while ago I did a review on the Golgo 13 anime, what I didn't know at that time was that there was a movie from the same franchise released a lot previously titled “Golgo 13: The Professional” which brings a new adventure for our favorite Japanese James Bond that will be loaded with violence, weapons, blood and sex. Sin más que agregar prepárense para realizar un trabajo de asesinato pues estamos por comenzar.

Es una animación de acción y crimen, la historia se centra en Golgo 13 el cual como es costumbre se encuentra realizando su trabajo de asesino, en este caso su asignación fue asesinar al hijo de un magnate de negocios, al tener bastos recursos a su disposición este poderoso hombre decide contratar al FBI, la CIA y al ejército de USA para asegurarse de vengar la muerte de su hijo y poner fin a la vida del impecable asesino.

Su construcción de mundo no destaca especialmente por nada, este se caracteriza por mostrar mayormente la forma en que funciona el mundo para las elites estando cargado de extravagancias y excesos de todo tipo, si bien esto tiene cierto grado de presencia no es realmente un factor muy importante. A grandes rasgos se busca generar la idea de un mundo bastante monótono para el ciudadano promedio en el cual suceden diversos acontecimientos sin que se den cuenta.

Although narratively it is quite simple, the film manages to fill this lack with great moments. that are well done. It could be said that some villains are pulled out of their sleeves to confront the protagonist but these allow more violence to be generated so there are no complaints. The duration is consistent, between each mission and moments of action the elements are added for the final outcome, although this is not extremely transcendental, it has one or another unexpected twist that are simple but well executed.
La trama se encuentra cargada de mucha acción y violencia, constantemente se van añadiendo diversas situaciones cargadas de emoción en las que la sangre y la adrenalina están a la orden del día, si bien narrativamente es bastante simple la cinta logra rellenar esta carencia con momentos geniales que están bien logrados. Se podría decir que se saca de la manga algunos villanos para que le hagan frente al protagonista pero estos permiten que se genere más violencia así que no hay quejas. La duración es acorde, entre cada misión y momentos de acción se añaden los elementos para el desenlace final, si bien este no es sumamente trascendental tiene uno que otro giro inesperado que son simples pero bien ejecutados.
The characters don't really matter, in general, they only stand out for the actions they do more than for themselves, taking into account the objective of the film this is fine because for the most part these represent cannon fodder, in the case Golgo is not a drama that little is known about because the character focuses on that. There are some secondary characters who have brutal deaths that are more impactful due to the manner of their death rather than because the character matters in itself, like the rest of the characters they do not have a halfway decent characterization because they only matter to advance the plot further. what other thing. The main antagonist is fine and fulfills his function, he is a being for whom you can easily feel contempt due to the methods he uses to kill the protagonist, making the characterization of him as someone nefarious perfect.
Los personajes realmente no importan, en general, estos solo destacan por las acciones que hacen más que por ellos en sí mismos, tomando en cuenta el objetivo del filme esto está bien debido a que en su mayoría estos representan carne de cañón, en el caso de Golgo no es un drama que se sepa poco de ese debido a que el personaje se enfoca en eso. Existen algunos personajes secundarios los cuales tienen muertes brutales que impactan más por la forma de su deceso más que porque el personaje importe en sí mismo, como el resto de personajes no tienen una caracterización medianamente decente debido a que solo importan para hacer avanzar la trama más que otra cosa. El antagonista principal está bien y cumple con su función, es un ser por el que fácilmente se puede sentir desprecio por los métodos que emplea para acabar con el protagonista haciendo que su caracterización como alguien nefasto sea perfecta.

Golgo 13: The Professional mantiene ese ritmo de violencia, sangre y sexo a todo lo largo de su duración, no tiene momentos aburridos porque sabe aprovechar cada minuto para añadir algún elemento importante para la resolución final o con algún enfrentamiento entretenido, si bien no tiene personajes memorables no se siente esa ausencia debido a que la premisa en sí no es compleja como para dar cabida a ello. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, una animación dedicada a presentar enfrentamientos armados a cada momento que tiene la posibilidad y que atrapa la atención gracias a las formas que tiene su protagonista de resolver las cosas, recomendada solo para aquellas personas que quieran ver disparos y sangre constantemente.
