Gregory es uno de mis tres hermanos. A él le encantan los documentales de animales y todo lo que tiene que ver con el ecosistema y la naturaleza. De niño deseaba ser veterinario, pero lamentablemente no se pudo. Sin embargo, aún conserva esa pasión por todo lo que tiene que ver con la naturaleza.

Hace aproximadamente un mes se topó con esta encantadora araña, que ya tenía tejida de forma muy elegante su telaraña, esperando pacientemente la llegada de una víctima. Gregory no solo se detuvo a tomarle fotos a esta glamorosa araña, sino que decidió echarle una manito. Buscó una pequeña lagartija y la lanzó a la telaraña.

Gregory is one of my three brothers. He loves animal documentaries and everything to do with the ecosystem and nature. As a child, he wanted to be a veterinarian, but unfortunately it didn't happen. However, he still has a passion for everything that has to do with nature.

About a month ago he came across this lovely spider, which had already elegantly spun its web, patiently awaiting the arrival of a victim. Gregory not only stopped to take pictures of this glamorous spider, but decided to give it a helping hand. He reached for a small lizard and tossed it into the web.

Al principio no ocurrió nada, pero bastó con que Gregory moviera de forma muy sutil la sorprendente y agraciada estructura construida por la araña. Ante tal ligero movimiento, la araña comenzó a envolver a la pequeña lagartija, con una rapidez impresionante, hasta que la cubrió por completo con su seda y la resguardó para alimentarse.

At first nothing happened, but it was enough for Gregory to subtly move the surprisingly graceful structure built by the spider. At such a slight movement, the spider began to envelop the little lizard, with impressive speed, until it completely covered it with its silk and sheltered it to feed.

Gregory se sintió muy emocionado por poder contemplar tan asombrosa escena y por colaborar con la cadena alimenticia. Un glorioso momento para la araña y el peor día de la lagartija, pues se convirtió en el alimento de la engalanada artrópodo.

De esta experiencia aprendo que tal como la araña, debemos ser trabajadores, estar listos, esperando lo que anhelamos. También debemos ser pacientes, no todo llegará tan rápido como lo deseamos y una vez que llegue lo que esperamos hay que actuar con prontitud, pues hay oportunidades que no se repetirán. En cuanto a la pequeña lagartija, siento pesar, pero esa es la ley que existe en la cadena alimenticia.

From this experience I learn that just like the spider, we must be hardworking, be ready to wait for what we long for. we must also be patient, not everything will come as fast as we wish. and that once what we hope for arrives, we must act promptly, because there are opportunities that will not be repeated. As for the little lizard, I am sorry, but that is the law that exists in the food chain.
