MY MUSIC LIFE JOURNEY 🎙️
Hello guys... My name is Josh and I am 23years old. I am a lover of music. Both classical and contemporary music...I took online and physical classes while learning the foundation (rudiment) of music and also the notes which is called the tonic solfa. I started learning my first musical instrument which was the recorder when I was 5 years old.
Knowing this as a child has encouraged me to learn more about music and other musical instruments.
It wasn't really an easy task learning series of musical instruments as it consumes time.
The second musical instrument I learnt was the flute. I started learning the flute with the help of online videos and a physical flute teacher. Playing the flute gives me Joy.
The third musical instrument I learnt was the keyboard. It requires consistency and a lot of practice to learn the keyboard. But because I love music... I never had a reason to relent during the learning process. And this has helped me to know each of the musical instruments.
I had to put in a lot of energy, sleepless nights and skipped meals to mention a few while learning the instruments.
I attended live concerts and also watched online concerts so as to take notes on where and how to improve my skills on playing the instrument.
Talking about my vocal experience. I enrolled with a vocal coach that gave me tutorials on how to sing distinctly with my tenor voice. And I can say it really helped me.
I achieved all these with the support of my parent and the music moguls around me.
Although there were challenges. The times I skipped my meals. The times I stayed up through the night. Just to mention a few.
But through all these I have been able to play my musical instruments and sing with professionals.
And I have been able to impact the knowledge on a lot of people.
