BIKE MAINTENANCE DAY / DIA DE MANUTENÇÃO DA BICICLETA (EN / PT)

Hello fellow bike lovers!

It's been a long time since I practiced any activity related to cycling, the bike must already be creating cobwebs. Taking advantage of the fact that I'm going on a cycling trip next weekend, I arranged with some friends to take our bikes for maintenance.

I don't know how Holy Week is celebrated in other countries around the world, but here in Brazil it is a very important date. We thought the bike shop would be open, but it was closed due to this event. To ensure that the day's schedule wouldn't be lost, we contacted the workshop in the nearest city and discovered that it would be open until noon.

Our quick trip to the Center ended up turning into an adventure for other city. We organized the cars and packed the bikes and took all for maintenance in the city of Nova Cruz/RN.

Maintenance took a long time, there were only two employees on site. When the maintenance was over it was practically noon, we had lunch at a restaurant in the city and took a short walk through the streets. Time passed very quickly, when we stopped to look at the time it was already getting dark.

One group returned part of the way on bikes, while the others returned in their vehicles. It was not possible to complete the entire route cycling, as darkness fell quickly.

I hadn't ridden for more than 2 weeks, my muscles weren't the same anymore. I go practice a little this week, as I intend to participate in an event that will take place in the city where I live. As soon as the event occurs, I will post it for you.

Olá amigos amantes de bicicletas!

Já faz muito tempo que não pratico qualquer atividade relacionada ao ciclismo, a bicicleta já deve estar criando teias de aranha. Aproveitando que vou fazer um passeio de bicicleta no próximo fim de semana, combinei com alguns amigos para levarmos nossas bicicletas para manutenção.

Não sei como a Semana Santa é comemorada em outros países do mundo, mas aqui no Brasil é uma data muito importante. Pensávamos que a loja de bicicletas estaria aberta, mas estava fechada devido a este evento. Para garantir que a programação do dia não seria perdida, entramos em contato com a oficina da cidade mais próxima e descobrimos que ela ficaria aberta até meio-dia.

Nossa rápida viagem ao Centro acabou virando uma aventura por outra cidade. Organizamos os carros e arrumamos as motos e levamos tudo para manutenção na cidade de Nova Cruz/RN.

A manutenção demorava muito, havia apenas dois funcionários no local. Terminada a manutenção já era praticamente meio dia, almoçamos em um restaurante da cidade e fizemos uma pequena caminhada pelas ruas. O tempo passou muito rápido, quando paramos para olhar a hora já estava escurecendo.

Um grupo retornou parte do caminho em bicicletas, enquanto os demais retornaram em seus veículos. Não foi possível completar todo o percurso de bicicleta, pois a escuridão caiu rapidamente.

Fazia mais de 2 semanas que não andava de bicicleta, meus músculos não eram mais os mesmos. Vou praticar um pouco essa semana, pois pretendo participar de um evento que acontecerá na cidade onde moro. Assim que o evento ocorrer, postarei para vocês.

Good morning my friend, I missed the community, I spent a long time without posting. It's like I said before, after I returned to my city, it's more difficult to go cycling.
