Brother Eli thaught that there is nothing like Christmas in the Bible.

The actual date of the Lord's Birth is unknown and this can be confirmed from the Catholic record.

"Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." Matt 2:2

The book of Matthew shows that those that came to visit Jesus were wise men and not Kings. We are not to believe or accept anything that is not written or confirmed by the scripture.

And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

Brother Eli taught us that throughout the gospel there is no account on the mass of Christ or any celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ. It was confirmed that Jesus was really born during the rain of Augustus Caesar of the Roman empire.

Facts about the birth of Jesus Christ

Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
Luke 2:3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
Luke 2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

Also Christ was born in a Manger according to the book of Luke. Apostle Luke is the only one who did a thorough investigation about the birth of Christ. Manger serves as shelter to the animal, since Joseph and Mary went there, that means there were no animals present.

• Jesus was born in the manger because there is not space in the inn.

Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
