Have you ever wondered why Saint Paul ( formerly known as Saul) was able to outperform most of the other disciples after his conversion?. Paul spent so much energy fighting against Christians but when he got converted, he channeled the energy to God and was able to achieve something very great.

Greed is a selfish or excessive desire for more than is needed or deserved, especially for money, wealth, food, or other possessions.

We might confide our view of Greed to the excessive desire for material things, and as such we may believe that the energy coming out from greed is evil and should be avoided. But what if this "excessive desire for more than is needed or deserved" is channeled towards good, perhaps towards living a life beyond the pronounced "normal Christian life" or achieving a position beyond that which is normal?.

One who is not satisfied with little success is likely going to excel in most of the things he will do because the greed for more wins will push him to a greater height. Should such energy for something extraordinary be ignored just because it is related to greed? and If everyone should be comfortable with taking orders, who will lead the society? who will make a difference?

The problem most times is that we see things from one view

Nevertheless, Man in nature is insatiable and most times, this nature of man leads him to the deadly sin of greed. Greed has turned many Billionaires into beggars. Many youths in their quest to acquire more have lost even the little they have worked for. With contentment, one can be able to manage what is available while working for more.

What is sinful about Greed is not the excessive desire for more than is needed or deserved, but the attachment to it and the inability to accept the present state while waiting to achieve greater height.
