▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Secessionists often deem their movement to be taking control away from government and giving it back to the people, However in this Video I discussed the economic disaster that could ammount in the battle for a different republic. In this video I talked about control, monetization of people's data and frewill and Why the quest for a different republic wouldn't really change government. Government would love to control the resources in the different geographical locations of their states and will fight secessionists from sharing these people, I talked about how poverty is the result of most failed attempts at secession.

Nice said bro. Secession has made the general government selfish. Like you said in the video about the division of some southern part of Nigeria if the government have taken this into consideration and given meaningful hears to the cry of people there won't be such..And the govt we have now, they want every tip to be on their hand by controlling every you own.

The fight for secession is futile as the intent of the people who are championing it isn't rocket science. Its the aim to control resources and lives of people in the bamet of seeking a new republic

Yeah exactly.. when they gain this power which they want then they change the story buy taking the total dominance of people's life. But most won't think of it in that way

Wao. This is so touching.. is the killing still rampant cus it's been a while I heard of that probably I haven't been consistent with the news.. I just hope the government will just give ears to the cry of people after a long while this has been happening yet no solutions.. I think all this are part of govt plans and strategies.. before now it was one issue now we are having another issue again which is not getting any better solution

The president or ruler of many places are typically just figure heads with groups behind them. It really is a shame that so many governments that are actually suppose to be here for the betterment of their people, are just using so much ploys just for resources. There is so much frivolous spending in governments it is absurd...

Keep up the great work and speaking the truth out to bring more and more awareness.

Exactly, in the case of Nigeria, they're trying to divide the country and there has been killings and wars recently of which resources worth a lot of Money are being destroyed on a daily basis, its the fight for emancipation but then, it's the regular people who are always caught in the cross fire. It's all about control and embezzlement for the these guys.

I just wish you the best and be careful as prosecution due to voice and depending on what you are saying may be more of a problem as hive becomes more mainstream over time. Have a happy new years and keep up the great information and views.

Oh, to some extent the government don't have the resources to actually monitor free speech, it's one advantage we have. It's more of getting people and killing them for their actions of demanding a new republic, so we can always talk. They consider that, empty threats.
Thanks a whole, I wish you a happy new year too.

I mean I wish you the best and safety. For me it isn't that they don't monitor but the resources don't justify monitoring, but once it becomes more mainstream that MAY change? I hope it does not and this can be a creative outlet for you to continue to educate us on the politics there and for you to voice your thoughts. Good luck with everything either way though.

Thanks, like you, I don't wish for the
resources enabled for these people to continue to control the lives of ordinary people. Hive has been a channel, a voice and a platform, better than any out-let whatsoever and its always good to share my story here.

As much as I agree it is a wonderful outlet it is good to be somewhat cautious of the ecosystem around us. I wish you the best of luck though just want to bring caution that if hive becomes more mainstream or accepted there that you may want to tread a little more carefully.

Yeah I don't like how those in power or have influence and knowledge typically use such information to amass greater resources through manipulating and abusing those without. Capitalism is one thing, but only if those that take part are of conscious mind

I don't think secession will ever come to stay because no government will ever allow its people to be in control.they will always want to be at helm of the affairs of the country and more reason why I think even if Nigeria should divide.what we are experiencing now is what we will still continue to experience

You're right, we'd keep experincing the things we've experienced in the past if we actually secede, because its still the same people in government with the same mentality it you ask me, its all going to result which won't be good for the regular people.

Replacing the government hardly helps because anyone in power wants to stay in power. I guess there may be a few policies that help out but I just don't think the after effects of such a crisis is worth it most of the time.

Replacing the government is an even milder way to put it, these people want to break free from the country and the economy backing it. Simply because they're feeling cheated of the opportuinities and the resources not allocated to them, the downside is, countless people have lost their lives due to this movement

It will be very difficult for Nigeria to succeed truly, 2020 protest shows how terrible this people are and how heartless people that governs us can be.

I completely agree with you about the same set of people ruling if there were to be a secession and it's not like they are any better people.

There's no way they're going to change, dividing the country wouldn't solve marginalisation of the Southerners it'll only give people with more nefarious agenda the shot at controling the lives of people in a different way. People are ignorant of a lot of things.
