Capacity To Aim Far Beyond

Everyone at one point in time in their lives has felt bombarded by real-time problems. Nevertheless, a problem might suffice as a challenge before becoming full-fledged. The ability to recognize what might tend to become a problem is pure skills and not relative to everyone.

However, everyone has proactive skills; the ability to discern, place personal assertions or deductions to a phenomenon or a situation. It is however, the degree or levels to which these skills are enacted makes people to be different from one another. Naturally we're equipped, the mind is a natural processor, a sophisticated tool that works as a shock absorber.

In a perfect state or condition, we can handle the most difficult challenges or problems. Inasmuch as this is so, the mind is expandable, its reach is astronomical, and sometimes we tend to surprise ourselves as to how much we can accomplish.

Putting the mind to use every day, expanding its ability to make dicey decision overtime, can strength its capacity. For example, people who are footballers or doctors are quick thinkers. This is because they need to access situations and proffer solutions or bring their formulated ideas into play, weigh the advantage and consequences of their prospective course of action in a just short timeframe.

The aim is the goal. The reason why people get better at handling a difficult situation is dependent on how much time and energy they've put in, plus the experience and failure they have accrued overtime. There's one thing about failure, we either deny its impact, or try to demean its impact. At the end of the day, when we go with the latter, we achieve mental maturity at handling the most difficult situation. It's not magic, it is the time taken plus the efforts induced.

Whole: Within & Without

Everyone in life is often faced with issues, be it money, health issues, psychological or even mental issues and this can be a huge problem especially with handling problems and challenges. Life requires one to be a whole and complete; mentally and physically, as well as maintain a balance within.

Have you ever discovered that when you go through a heartbreak or maybe sick in hospital, or probably intrapersonal issues which might seem inexplicable, it's always difficult to "think" or even make sound decisions, this is because the mind is tainted and filled up with extracurricular activities. It prevents one from projecting rightly.

First of, for one to make the right decisions, they will need to rely on their mental sharpness, which Inevitability should come from wellness or wholesomeness. The ability to process well, having no extra layer of thoughts to process, being free of niggling emotions.

It is however, very difficult to achieve a favorable state of wholeness. On a daily basis, people are fazed with reality. The aspect of the truth that comes with challenges. Life's hurdles has a way of tinkering with the courage of people, and this is why we exhibit different kinds of emotions.

The truth is, emotions makes us human, but sometimes it makes us unwhole, when emotions aren't channelled rightly, we tend to make mistakes or face consequences. In reality, we react to different problems in our lives not the same ways and understanding this pattern is firstly important in achieving balance.

When people go through things, it unbalances them, the impact makes them erratic, hence making it difficult for them to hold their own and make good decisions going forward. No one is immune to being knocked into a state of panic, anxiety or trepidation when they're faced with a problem, the degree to how a corresponding emotion is being expressed depends on the impact made by a certain challenge.

Declustering Emotions?

Training oneself is important, but then, there's a huge obstacle. So many people express distaste and disappointment when they discover how weak-willed they are. These disappointments creates a feeling of disgust and shame. They dwell on their frustration. Firstly, no one should be apologetic for being too emotional. Accepting this as a huge part of one can help a person to individually chose to channel or express their emotions discreetly.

We're biologically wired differently, and no one should feel incomplete for being wired the way they are. However, one can work towards being better, acknowledging this personally is total bliss. Training oneself is a long-term process that is never complete. With each experience in life and how we relate to them, we definitely get better.

In my opinion, all of us bear the burden of life's problems. Sometimes, to cope with problems, you need to look at the situation from the outside, sometimes go with the flow ... But more often you need to make an effort or turn to a specialist.

You're definitely correct, need to continually make that effort to become better at something.

The reason why people get better at handling a difficult situation is dependent on how much time and energy they've put in, plus the experience and failure they have accrued overtime.

Failure, this was my biggest phobia when I was still in secondary school, but with time I learnt it was part of life infact if you don't fail you won't get better. Failure has been part of me and it has helped me grow to this level.

Yeah, to me failure is experience, it depend on us to perceive it rightly or wrongly. I take positives for every failure and this is simply because it's that bedrock to continue again and again.

You write amazing articles @josediccus. I resonated with the line where we could not achieve favorable wholeness. Nothing is perfect in life, we could never not have problems, it's something normal and something that we go through every day. Very great read!

Thank you for coming through. In reality, I believe that when wholeness is achieved, the mind is strengthed to a particular extent to almost do the unthinkable, sometimes it comes true to us, sometimes it hardly does.

I have found that with time we all get better at solving problems if we are willing to learn from the past.
I find the ego and the emotions as being a key factor in contributing to the problems. The good solutions always come from a clear mind and peaceful spirit

Yeah, I once made reference to the past being important in forming our experiences which in turn helps us to do better, but some people didn't agree.
As for the ego and emotion they are generally part of us by default, but then, I guess it is always up to us to channel them mildly. Thank you for coming through.

I have been trying to train myself and my emotions and I guess it has been working.

I started as very blunt and mean then moved to being super sensitive and angry but now I think I am getting the hang of it, it wasn't easy though

Hahahaha I believe at the intial stage one cant help but to feel diverse "things". Trying to express oneself rightly is challenging, even the most rigid might find it difficult. Glad for your progress.

Hmm…I watched a movie about a week ago, and one of the points I could pick from that movie is making decisions out of being emotional, doing that makes us think less and act stupidly. Instead we should learn to cool our emotions then use our mind to make decisions.

You are such a good writer, and yes most time our feelings cloud our judgments. Most times our emotions makes us to take certain steps in life which we will later regret.

The mind is the engine room of the body.
It is what controls our actions and inactions.

Once a person is able to gain control of their mind, it solves a lot of problems.
Hence, why I am more logically inclined over emotional sentiments when making decisions.

Awesome work of art here @josediccus

I read a finance book recently that said "Highly productive people control and channel all energy gotten from emotions and other feelings to other important aspects of their life which have proven to increase efficiency, re-direct their thoughts and produce better results".
The ability to master our emotions and channel them properly is very important.

The mind also is a powerful tool. Even the Holy book says " Guide your mind with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life". This has helped me so far in life.

Thanks for this educative post. I enjoyed reading all through.
