My Sister Won Her First Ever Title!👑✨

How are we doing, Hive friends? I hope you are all well and good😘❤️

Last weekend was such "a moment" of a chapter in the book of my sister Sway @swaycanete 's life✨ IT WAS HER DREAM COME TRUE MOMENT and I was so glad I was there to witness it!🥰

If you have been following me for quite some time now, you will know that I have a sister who has a heart for pageants. She's also here in Hive by the way - but she stopped blogging and focused more on her current work and her pageantry as well.

I've been my younger sister's P.A. or Personal Assistant (more like Alalay haha) every time she has go-see or auditions for pageants. That is why her "crowning moment" was such a joy for me because I have witnessed her pageantry journey's highs and lows.

They say "Third time's the charm" - well that's true for my sister. In her third pageant, she FINALLY WON AND GOT THE CROWN🧡✨ Her first pageant was Miss Trans Global Philippines 2022. I even made a blog about it last year. Her second pageant was earlier this year - Miss San Nicolas 3023. Both these pageants she was unable to make it to Top 5.

Luckily she was persistent and her eyes were on the prize. She almost gave up but then we really encouraged her to not give up on joining pagenats. This it was good news when she joined another pageant, and this time - it is closer to home. It is Binibining Ganda 2023 - a yearly pageant for all transgender women in our hometown here in the city.

Their coronation night was last Sunday and I almost lost my voice from all the cheering I did! Alongside me as the FAN GROUP would be my sisters Eve and Rica and my niece Kendra. WE CHEERED AND SHOUTED LIKE OUR LIVES DEPENDED ON IT! 🙌💓🤸

It was a thrilling and magical moment when it was just Sway and one other candidate. It was the moment of truth - who will win tonight, I thought. When Sway's name was hailed as the Queen, everyone of us SCREAMED and JUMPED and WERE JUST SO, SO HAPPY.

OMG!!! IT WAS AWESOME!!! SEEING MY SISTER GET HER FIRST CROWN - all joy🥹 It was a great moment! Finally! All her effort were paid off! All the prayers were answered! And all the tears when she didn't make the cut were all worth it during that magical moment.

CONGRATULATIONS THE NEWEST BB. GANDA OF GUADALUPE! CONGRATS OUR QUEEN! 👑🥂✨🙌🧡🌟
