Ayala Malls Cebu ~finallyπ!~ Opens its 1st Macao Store! π§Έ
Me and my squad grabbed our daily dose of bubble tea @ the newest Macao in town!! π
The "shy" Joy and me posing for the camera. π βοΈ
I love this "yoghurt drink" container as it's so "aesthetic", don't you agree? π€
Here's one for the Instagram, y'all. π
The flowers still seem to look fresh even when they are a week old!
/we are a happy bunch/
"for Me for you - sweet life"
(lowkey trying to endorse the milk tea haha)
It is a vibe.
It is spacious. Also: the chandeliers!!
I kept on checking whether my beeper's not broken because my drink took quite awhile huhuhaha.
The newest Macao Imperial Tea store is here Cebu!!!! π€©π
I do not know about you but Macao is one of the best bubble tea shops for me. I remember trying their bestselling Cheesecake milk tea last 2018 - it was a heavenly concoction (!!) Since that moment I signed up as a fan of this store lol.
Here's something you need to know dear Hiver - their "cheesecake" tastes SO GOOD. You'd definitely agree with me on this if you have had a try of their bubble-tea. And because of such (probably there are more aspects, of course, but just so I can make my case haha) they have gained quite popular amongst the Filipinos.
Need I remind you that since the 2020 lockdowns, as if a miracle, the milktea/bubble tea business has soared here in our country. If you come visit Cebu, you find milk tea stores in almost every corner of the city. Yes that is right - and I am not exaggerating.
One of the most popular teas around here is certainly Macao! There are quite a few branches in Cebu province and the city proper, but there's none in the mall that is closest to me - Ayala malls. BUT LO AND BEHOLD - sometime five months ago I saw a poster of "Macao coming soon" when I was in Ayala. My fan-girl heart was so excited! π
I should have visited the store last week Friday on its opening day (when there giving away free milkteas!!) but I was not in the city as I celebrated my pup's birthday (clue: read previous blogs). This week I was preoccupied with managing our small business, and it was only yesterday that I finally got the time to go!!
The store had AESTHETHICS that any Gen Zer and Millennial would definitely appreciate. I particularly liked the "popping bobba" chandeliers - they are too cute! The lights and designs of the store gave it a fresh vibe - similar with the other Macao stores. It could be their "signature" - and do not forget about the bear! The bear is present in every Macao store you'd visit. π§Έ
I ordered a drink that I haven't tried off of their menu since I was keen on trying new things yesterday. I got the coffee jelly milk tea while my friends Joy and Chel got the bestseller (and my personal fave) Cheesecake bubble tea! Both of them enjoyed their drinks while meh - I did not like how the drink tasted. My personal take: coffee jellies do not mix well with milk teas - my opinion only.
Anyway I hope you can visit this new store and while you're there take some shots for your Instagram lol.
Of course being the blogger of the group I was always running behind them, busy taking some photos hahahaa.
As soon as you enter the store, this is what the interior looks like.
Here is a closer look of the "popping bobba" chandelier. π
How adorable is their merch - a macao milk tea tote!
So... a closer look of their menu.
This is my good friend Chel, you guys. π
Not quite ready yet for a photo lol.
This is just plainly cute.
