A Fun-filled Weekend with Friends at Antipolo Beach Resort🌊🏝️🌴💙

I have been so blessed with these friends in my life🥹 Even when we no longer work together and see each other at the same office, our fiendship remains.🦋

Hey there, Hive friends! I hope this blog finds you and your fam well.🥰 I hope you are having an awesome weekend as well.💛

I am sharing with you in today's blog the recent getaway I had just this weekend with my friends!💙

We all went to Antipolo Beach Resort in Tuburan. Tuburan is a municipality north of Cebu. As for our trip, from Cebu City, it took us three and a half hours to arrive at the mentioned Beach resort. Can I say it was worth that long drive? Yep, I can.😎

My friends and I rented a six-seater car for this trip. Abby was our driver as she's the only one who has license to do so amongst this batch😅😆.

Our check-in time was 2pm so we all decided to hit the road at 11AM. Our "appointed driver" picked us up from our homes (IT WAS GREAT YAY!!) and when the last person was picked up we all were north-bound YAAASSS🤘🧑‍🎤

We blasted the car radio to roadtrip playlists and everyone jammed🤸‍♀️ It was a crazy wonderful time - "THIS IS THE WEEKEND" was the vibes around the car haha.💯

After about two hours or so on the road we were hungry for lunch so we stopped by a bus stop called Bastap and had barbeque for lunch. 🥓 From there it was a breeze heading down to Antipolo Beach Resort!

It was around 4 in the afternoon that we FINALLY arrived at the destination. Boy was it so good to get out of the car and breathe some fresh (rather salty) air!🌊

It was perfect timing that we were able to marvel at the breathtaking sunset and the crisp ocean air clinging to our hair and face - the therapy we all needed.✨

Everyone stared at the infinite ocean and soaked into the present moment. This. Now. It was magic. 💛

We stayed for the night and had gooood dinner and breakfast at the resort. We loved the staff's warmth and friendliness. Their food was fine as well! What we did not like was that it took a long time to serve us the food - each time: dinner and breakfast! They said they were fully booked so they had lots of guests. I guess they were understaffed.😢 I hope they improve on this for the future guests!
