LET'S GO MINI'S (Tiny But Cuteness Overload)
It's been a month already since I had my crochet items displayed in our local tourism shop here in Sagay City (Philippines).
The Product Showroom and Visitor Center are showcasing different local products that the sagaynon (name of people living here in Sagay) made for sale to all tourists or anyone who would visit the center.
'Producers' are what they called to a local who sells their products here.
Some producers displayed their artworks and some products like keychains, bracelets, necklaces, home decor made of shells, and many more.
I'm one of the 'producers' that supplies or displays my crochet items here such as earrings, tulip flower bouquets, coin purses, and tops. They only add a 15% mark up to our original price and we were informed via text message to get our sales after they make an inventory every 15th and 30th day of the month.
There were a few crochet earrings left on the display from 55 pairs that I had given last month. My crochet coin purses were sold out, as well as the flower bouquets.
I am grateful that many appreciated my handicrafts, especially the crocheted earrings. And I was still thinking of something that I can add to the display.
On the other hand, my sister Judy, a nursing student studying in Cebu, gladly shares her crocheted mushroom keychains. She plans to sell them to their classmates.
They all look very cute and all she made were sold out and still receiving orders from her classmates and schoolmates.
I was the one who taught her to crochet years ago and she immediately learned and loved it. She's the one who help me with my MTOs like crochet swimwear before. And when she started her studies in Cebu, she also helped my other sister with the crocheted flower bouquet that she earned almost P10,000.00 ($178) on Valentine's Day.
At a young age, she was able to earn money from her hobby and I am glad to know that.
I wanted to help her since being a nursing student requires more time to study and making crochet mushroom key chains will consume more of her time.
I was inspired by her cute mushroom keychains too and decided to make some to be displayed in the Showroom. I didn't copy her mushroom though I'm thinking also of trying it, but what comes to my mind first was to make a mini tulip flower as keychains. So without thinking of other 'unfinished stuff', I gather all the materials that I'll be using and started the magic.
After a few hours, I was able to make these red tulips.
The result was very cute and lovely so I made some more in different colors.
I made some black tulips also as I remembered that during Valentine's Day, some customers were asking for them.
What's your opinion on this black tulip?
While making these cute tulip keychains, another idea had formulated. I then started to wrap using the flower wrapper lining the tulip keychains and add a ribbon to look like this.
They all look awesome, isn't it? 😍
I was able to send 20 pieces of tulip keychains to my sister and are now sold out. I also displayed some in the showroom about 30 pieces and yesterday when I visited the showroom, there was only 12 pieces left.
This was also the reason why I had come up with a crochet mini flower bouquet that Dahlia was holding last 'Needlework Your Barbie Contest'.
I just put a keyring on to it. And voila!
A tiny pretty crochet flower bouquet keychain.🥰 I loved the outcome of my masterpiece and I'm planning on making more of these in the future.
Can you suggest of something I can crochet in minis that would be perfect for keychains? I'll appreciate if you have something in mind. Or do you happen to crochet some keychains in the past? You can share the link below so I could read your story.
Thank you for your time and God bless you.

Ay ang gaganda naman te Jona! Well dasurb yung sa pa municipality nyo helping the locals to boost their income.
Hehe.
Dika ba nakadikwat ng keychain Nung meet up TP? Hehe, sayang. Bet mo pala yun akala ko yung ky Luffy na hat ang bet mo. 😅
Wow!! 😍 I really like your project of mini bouquets. The showroom looks great, it is a dream place for the sale of handicrafts.
You crochet so well that I think any mini thing you crochet can be successful, with these colors I think of mini fruits 🍎🍓. Cheers!😊
Thank you so much @imena. 🥰 I feel honored too knowing my handicrafts had the chance to be displayed in the showroom. 😊

Hi Jonalyn. All your mini bouquets look beautiful, and I'm glad all your projects are selling so well. You can tell that people like it and it is not surprising because they are beautiful.
An idea for a mini keychain that occurs to me are kittens or puppies. It would be nice to see them knitted.
Greetings to you, happy Monday ❤️!
So beautiful and delicated. Congratulations.

Ka nice sa mga products mo Sis, all crochetiful!
Salamat sis. 🥰
How nice that artisans have a place to offer their products! I was just thinking of weaving little key rings for sale, that is to say, simple and decorative. My list is huge (I'll have to prioritise, haha).
Your tulips look great! I don't know if you are the pioneer in this "key ring bouquets" thing, for me you are. I'm going to knit your tulips for Mother's Day, how about that? Best regards.
True, I'm very much happy knowing they are very supportive for our handicrafts. 🥰
Yes of course, these tiny keychains will definitely sell faster than big projects since they are way cheaper. And a lot will find it cute hanging on their bags. 🥰
I haven't seen any flower bouquet keychains yet, but maybe there was already on the internet. 😊
It's my pleasure to see your version of those tulips dear. Just do and I will certainly support you. 🥰🥰🥰
I love how the mini bouquet looks, I'm sure you can sell a lot of them for the next mother's day. congratulations.
Thank you so much @carolinacardoza. 🥰
I am impressed😍
The little tulips are really cute (and then you even came up with a mini bouquet, I was amazed:))
Glad to hear the people appreciate your work, you definitely deserve (and earned)it!!
