THROWBACK EXPERIENCE DURING THE MOTHER'S DAY
As I reflect on the recent Mother’s Day, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for every individual who chose to celebrate that special occasion with our handcrafted crochet flower bouquets. Their support and appreciation mean the world to me, and I am so thrilled to have been a part of their Mother’s Day celebration.
I was accepting early reservations for Mother's Day last week of April to give me more time to process all the orders to be placed. As soon as I posted it on my social media accounts, I received two customers right away.
Both of them had already purchased flower bouquets from me in the past and were also happy with their previous purchases.
The first customer had been ordering flowers since last year for her girlfriend and his latest order was his 3rd order for her mother. I was happy that time also knowing that he remembered his mother too aside from her gf.
First Bouquet
This was his flower bouquet (above) for his mother. He chose 3 sunflowers, 3 tulips, and a rose and asked me for their specific colors. It was the first flower bouquet I made for the Mother's Day occasion.
The second customer was a daughter who worked abroad and wanted to make a surprise gift for her mother and her aunties. This was her 2nd time ordering after she ordered a flower bouquet for her niece who celebrated her birthday. This time, she ordered four bouquets to be delivered on Mother's Day.
Second and third bouquet
Fourth flower bouquet
Fifth bouquet
The sixth and seventh flower bouquet was ordered from a new (third) customer who eventually I knew was the boyfriend of the staff of the courier that I always approach when I make deliveries.
Sixth flower bouquet
He ordered two flower bouquets, one for her mother and the second for her girlfriend.
And I saw her girlfriend flexing the flower bouquet she received on Facebook. She told me also that it's beautiful and she loved it.
Seventh and 8th flower bouquet
The fourth customer was a husband and also a new customer from Cavite. He ordered the 3 sunflowers, 3 tulips flower bouquet with dried baby's breath (8th flower bouquet).
The fifth customer was also a mother, who wanted to give flower bouquets to her mother, mother-in-law, and some friends who were also mothers. This was her second time ordering from my shop.
9th flower bouquet
I was overwhelmed when she placed her 6 pieces of flower bouquets, as I only have 3 days to finish them and be able to send them to Manila, which will take 3 days before she will receive them to make it for Mother's Day.
10th flower bouquet
Honestly, I was a little hesitant, afraid I might not make it on time, but I still wanted to try, so I received her order, hoping I could finish it as soon as possible.
11th flower bouquet
As usual, I wake up early every morning—4 o'clock to be exact and start crocheting the flowers. I crocheted the whole day with some interruptions as I had to prepare the kids to go to school.
12th flower bouquet
I crocheted until 11 o'clock in the evening and felt the numbness in my hands. I have the quota of making 2 flower bouquets every day for 3 days to finish the 6 pieces of flower bouquets.
13th flower bouquet
The last two flower bouquets I made for her were immediately wrapped and packed, as I was running out of time and had to go to the nearest courier to send all the bouquets. But these two flower bouquets were the same as the previous bouquets I made.
14th flower bouquet
After sending all the flower bouquets on May 8, I felt a little relieved and am still hoping that there will be no delays in delivery, as there will be 3 days left before Mother's Day. I also learned a lesson along the way about making more flowers on hand, so when this kind of special occasion comes, I'll just pull the flowers I need and wrap them right away.
But these could not be happening without Him. I would like to thank God for all the orders, the customers, the skills, and the strength He gave me. I am overjoyed with all these blessings.
I hope I inspired a little to anyone who wanted to make this crochet flower bouquet a business. Though it wasn't that big, it still could help make an income for a full-time mother like me. Thank you for reading until the end and God bless you.

Napakaganda at napaka cute. I forgot na how to crochet. XD
Thank you sis. Maaalala mo rin yan once I try mo uli. 🥰
Kaya I understand you sis. 😊
dati nung nasa Cebu ako high school to college nagco-crochet ako. Andun pa sa cebu mga yarns and hooks ko, nalumaan na siguro yon. at di ko na nga nabalikan. focus muna ako sa painting ngayon coz i can enjoy it with the kids.
Ay cebuana sad diay ka sis no. hehe. Bitaw sad, maimagin ra nako na ga enjoy mo while ga paint. So for sure jud nga ig dagku ana nila maayu na kaayu magpaint ky na train pag ayo.🥰
bisdak kaayo. dapat sad ako ni sila itrain pagka singer. haha char lang.
Hahaha, why not, di ba? para mabansay jud so train them while they're young pa. so go na sis, start na sa vocal lesson.hehe 😁
haha malingaw ra man sad ko nila magkanta2 silag children's songs.
Pero pinakaimportante man sad jud na while teaching them, they're having fun gyud. Ang learnings mu follow rana as long as ga enjoy sila.
Oo, as a first time mom struggle pod for me labi na different language but more on tudloan nako sa english. ako ra gehapon ga struggle kay di ko kamao mo french. basin ako nay tudloan ani nila. haha
Amen to your blessings.
@jonalyn2020 I am impressed by how beautiful your bouquets turn out, and in love with every detail. They are really beautiful and inspiring, my respects for your meticulous work. The packaging is dreamy.
I have made flowers, and they have their work, this work must necessarily be done in series, and have previously woven flowers so that the bouquets come out quickly, just as you will do soon.
Take good care of your hands, do exercises so they don't get damaged.
This result is definitely thanks to God and his blessings.
Good job!

I loved your green sunflower!. I'm so glad you have several orders. And especially that they are repeat customers. I went through a similar situation and yes it's really exhausting. Happily you are already prepared for next year.
Gosh, they are super pretty, very eye-catching!
I’ve made crochet flower bouquets twice and I enjoyed making them because they are not much work like big clothes, but some flowers could not turn out the way I wanted because I didn’t have craft wire. I’m still trying to get them so whenever I have another crochet order, I can make it better.
Again, your bouquets are beautiful! I love the open tulips expecially. I hope that’s what they are called.
my dear, it's just brilliant, gorgeous, fire and everything!!!! you are a very great craftswoman! I'm amazed! I found your page on Instagram
Oh, thank you so much, dear @tali72. 🥰 I am just a regular crafter who practiced this craft everyday so the chances of improving is present. I'm glad to hear that you found my Instagram, giving me this happy vibe.🥰
