Just like every other expansion they released dozens of new cards for every possible character and even naturals for the game and here are some first impressions of mine about them and what i feel might be good combinations or worst!
Demon Hunter Cards
The game has a new skill/function which is called Honorable Kill, it was never exist nor heard in the game before, although demon hunters known for using their hero's special power with 1 mana to gain 1 attack (and with some other spells/combinations up to 10-20 dmg) we never heard something called Honorable kill, which make me thing that they will use their hero's special power even more to jump over and hit to minions to do the same amount of dmg to the enemy hero! (no more taunt minion protection)'
I will talk about the rest of the cards later on another day but this significant party changer will change all the Demon Hunters and how they operate in the game.
Druid Cards
Another Game Changer cards is definately Capture coldtooth Mine spell, which can be really effective in either at the start of the game or in the EndGame where you have limitless mana for every possible minion(or spell)
Hunters
Woah! I can't imagine a hunter using his hero to attack minions, literally it changed hunter class on a whole new meaning, because hunters are known by their ranged attack abilities in fact their hero power costs 2 mana and hits the enemy as an arrow and they don't lose any hp at all. They will be able to hit the minions more offen as far as we see because everytime they kill a minion their bloodseeker will gain 1 more ammo and 1 more attack which would make them even more stronger and they would be able to continue the killing spree!!
Here is why i hate mages
I created a post about why i hate mages until recently https://ecency.com/game/@johnnywingston/why-i-hate-mages-why and this was even before this current expansion, but guess what? Blizzard buffed a class which was already buffed! Thanks alot, now we have even more hard time with mages because of the shivering sorceress, they are already able to reduce the mana of a spell to 0 and they are able to continiously spam it by doing some combos which makes them able to re-draw the spell that they casted!
Unlucky paladins
Blizzard prepared even slower death for the paladins with the cards like vitality surge, which will heal them but won't change their fate as they will go through a slow path of death, they will only feel more pain.
Crazy buffed priests
So if you are familiar with priests, they have a card which draws a card whenever someone is healled and now with the gift of naaru card, they would be able to draw double the amount of cards which means they could fill their hands to full even more often and easy. So i wonder how can we overplay a priest after this expansion..
Unlucky rogues
Luck is never on your side, it only is on your opponents, and as this principle stays as an international law of life, rogues has no chance what so ever in early game with the cards like forsaken lieutenant, infact it only stays stealth and no=mage or shaman is stupid enough to let it stay on the playground, they would use an aoe spell to clear that mob with 2 hp!!
Buffed shamans
I wonder why do they keep buffing shamans all the time, they want people to play shaman and they always buff it, windchill is only 1 cost and it freezes a minion (disables) and draws a card, rofl
We have one more reason to hate warlocks
Copy a fell spell in your hand means rampant spam! How are we even going to deal with warlocks from now on??
No pirate card for warriors
They definately don't want to see offensive warriors as they did not even share a single pirate for the warrior class, but Frozen Buckler is going to be badass game changer, they already have limitless armor spell and yet another one is there for them to use!!!
Ivus, the forest lord is definitely my favorite card here, 1 cost but can easily have rush divine shield, tahunt and 3 - 3 in early game, hell don't mess with someone who has that card in their hand
