HELLO HIVE

Interior design is a lucrative job and it takes a lot of money to hire someone to do any kind of design for me. As an apprentice hair stylist we made plans to give our shop a little touch that will make things a little different since it was a new year and we normally do a revamp of our shop whenever we are about to enter into another year. This year plans didn't go as expected because my boss couldn't put the needed finance for any kind of changes to be made so we decided to do something small ourselves.

The wallpapers in our shop is still pretty clean so we just cleaned it a little in parts that require any form of cleaning but the one that brought the most concern was the wall that was had a white satin paint on it, but after some weeks of deliberation and search all over the internet to find some kind of design that wouldn't cost us much we came across a very nice simple design.

The shape of the wall that had that design on was the same as the shape of our wall and the cost is quite affordable so we picked that as our sample, then we had another issue and that was how much it will cost to hire a professional so we agreed to put our heads together and see how we could do this ourselves.

The color of the paint we will use made decisions a little bit slow and them we decided to go with and off white color for the background and then black or blue for the design, then we began painting the wall with an off white satin after this was done we had to convert the color of the remaining off white paint into black of blue we got something called paste based on the recommendation of a professional who is a friend to my boss we got the black paste but due to the color of the paint we were trying to mix it with we got a different color which surprisingly was the color on in the sample we saw online and it was even better because it had mix well with the off white paint in the background.

We carved out the design on the wall using tapes and then painting through the tapes to create the design we wanted and truly that was a very good experience that we had gathered from trying this ourselves.
