Fat control in birds (calcium supplements)
HELLO HIVE
Poultry feeds have to meet a required standard of diet for the birds to grow seamlessly without any problem to this birds, just like us humans this birds have a requirement that their feeds should have in terms of nutrients to prevent any form of complications. When someone is into poultry farming or management as the case maybe that person has to have good level of understanding on how this birds react to the component of their feed.
Someone close to me who owns a some birds that where purchased to be trained for the Christmas festivity did not have a clue on the need to observe how the birds react to the component of their feed and all the individual was doing at that point was to feed and believe that is all that matters as a friend I didn't even notice that anything was wrong with the birds I thought it was normal for the birds to gain that much weight and it was not until the farmer who sold these birds to my friend when they where a month old came and told us that there was something wrong with the birds, he said they were gaining too much fat which wasn't healthy for the birds and recommended we give the birds calcium supplements.
What does calcium add to their feed
It is important for muscle contraction, blood clothing and also it was important for their bones, I had to look that up online to understand better and that eventually explained the reason why the birds found it difficult to walk at some point when they are barely two months old.

.Well! I will agree with you but at the same time I will disagree with you. Yeah! Calcium is good but not really good if you are rearing them for a commercial purpose. Most of the feeds we have here already have this content in them, like Newhope feed, happy chicken feed and many of them. If broiler chicken consume too much calcium they will have the strength and agility to jump around and with that can lose weight. So you rearing Broiler chicken for commercial purpose will turn out to be shortage for you. Just thinking out loud. Take care.
