Hola Hivers amantes de las películas y series, en esta ocasión nuevamente coloco sobre la mesa una producción nueva que se ha agregado hace poco al servicio de streaming de Netflix. Ya es algo regular en mi contenido analizar esas nuevas producciones que se agregan al catalogo de un icono mundial en cuanto a entretenimiento, en esta oportunidad quiero comentar sobre la película Kate.
Esta es una película estrenada el 10 de septiembre de este año 2021, pocos días antes al momento de escribir este post, es protagonizada por Mary Elizabeth Winstead y para el momento de esta redacción la película se encuentra entre los puestos de privilegio en cuanto a popularidad en la plataforma de Netflix, ¿se merece estar en el podio en cuanto a películas mas populares? Trataré de responder esta pregunta de una manera objetiva y desde mi percepción personal en una reseña sin spoilers.
Sinopsis:
Kate es una asesina que es envenenada y morirá en poco tiempo pero buscará vengarse de sus enemigos antes de que el veneno acabe con su vida. Kate por primera vez sentirá la libertad pero al mismo tiempo deberá lidiar con las consecuencias de sus actos.
Análisis de la Película
Esta es una película que si bien se encuentra clasificada dentro del género de suspenso y aventuras en su ficha técnica, yo la catalogaría dentro del género de acción y disparos, desde mi perspectiva no entra propiamente dentro del género de suspenso, la producción no nos muestra un suspenso significativo o constante como para introducirla en ese género, quizás exista un poco de suspenso relacionado con el tiempo pero nada marcado, así que no esperen suspenso en esta producción pero si mucha acción y disparos a la cabeza.
Historia
Para cualquier persona que le guste las películas y conozca del género de acción esta historia que nos presenta la película Kate resultará familiar y conocida, podríamos decir que se basa en una historia realmente trillada en el mundo del entretenimiento, sin embargo, con esto no quiero decir que no sea interesante. Cuando una producción une en su tráiler o sinopsis una asesina profesional con un sentimiento de venganza imparable resultara bastante interesante para cualquier fan de la acción y disparos.
Esta película me recuerda varias producciones de acción como Lucy o Jhon Wick, sin realizar una exhaustiva comparación debido a que la calidad de las producciones son distintas, las escenas de violencia si tiene ciertos parecidos desde mi punto de vista, ese disparo rápido a la cabeza característico de la serie de películas de Jhon Wick la encontramos en Kate en varias oportunidades, si bien ocurren con una menor frecuencia le da un toque de violencia significativo a las escenas de acción, para los menores de edad puede ser una lastima pero para los adultos que disfrutamos de este genero, esa violencia que en ocasiones puede parecer algo excesiva logra ser un buen entretenimiento.
Lamentablemente la película se desarrolla en una trama lineal y muy predecible, para el cinéfilo observador que ya ha visto un montón de películas esta producción se podrá predecir incluso el desenlace final viendo la primera parte de la película. Siempre es lo mismo y esta película sigue ese mismo carril en cuanto a su narrativa y argumentos. Desde mi percepción esta característica es el aspecto más influyente en cuanto a criticas negativas sobre esta producción.
Escenas de Acción
Si bien la producción nos muestra una historia que hemos visto mucha veces la película lo trata de complementar impulsando la acción, observaremos muchas escenas de acción bastante interesantes, donde podremos ver a la protagonista enfrentándose a muchos enemigos de distintitas maneras, cuerpo a cuerpo y en enfrentamientos armados.
Definitivamente las escenas de acción son de calidad y nos otorgan el entretenimiento esperado para una película de acción y disparos. Siempre he estado de acuerdo en que si el guion no presenta un argumento o historia significativa se complemente con buenas escenas en este caso de acción que logran hacer que el espectador pueda sentir esa emoción al momento de esas peleas bien coordinadas por parte de la protagonista. Sin dudas este es el aspecto más resaltante y positivo de esta producción las buenas escenas de acción y disparos que nos ofrece Kate.
Actuación
En un video reseña de otro cinéfilo reconocido en esta comunidad observo que no soy el único sorprendido por la actuación de Mary Elizabeth Winstead, creo que se puede adaptar al personaje de buena manera, dando esa sensación de asesina despiadada pero al mismo tiempo atormentada por todo lo que ha pasado a lo largo de su vida. Me parece resaltante que en las escenas de acción se logra ver una buena coordinación y mucha calidad en cuanto a movimientos. Este aspecto es bastante notorio en actores que icónicos del género de acción o de lucha, sin embargo, no había visto a esta actriz protagonizando este tipo de acción de calidad que es grato para la vista del espectador amante de este género.

Es una película que promete acción, disparos y violencia y cumple en estos aspectos, a pesar de que es un guion que ya hemos visto antes, quizás el toque de originalidad se lo otorga el limite de tiempo debido al veneno en el cuerpo de la protagonista, sin embargo, no podemos hablar de una trama con muchas sorpresas. Carente de una historia significativa lo trata de complementar con buenas escenas de acción y logra generar un efecto positivo en los espectadores dejando de lado muchos aspectos faltantes es los argumentos de la trama.
¿La Recomiendo?
Si, para el fan de la acción será una película entretenida aunque predecible, me parece que el valor lo tiene en sus escenas de acción y en la protagonista, la cual realiza un muy buen trabajo. En lo particular pude entretenerme con esta película de principio a fin y diría que vale la pena verla.

He dedicado de mi tiempo a observar nuevas producciones en este servicio de streamig, me parece que son pocas las producciones que son relevantes o significativas que se agregan en el catálogo de este importante servicio para el entretenimiento. Muchas producciones que solo llegan para rellenar y satisfacer al usuario en cuanto a nuevas opciones, pero con una calidad desde mi punto de vista que deja mucho que desear. Puedo nombrar películas que incluso cuentan con actores estrellas o iconos de la gran pantalla que cuyas producciones son decepcionantes.
Kate y otras películas aun con sus limitaciones e imperfecciones parece que dan esa esperada alegría en cuanto a las nuevas producciones que si vale la pena ver y que nos entretienen. Hay que tener en cuenta que no todas las películas con grandes estrellas y recién sacadas del horno son buenas, sin embargo, estaré atento a esas producciones que se van agregando y analizando sin spoilers esas películas tratando siempre de ser objetivo pero sabiendo que todos tenemos gustos diferentes.

This is a film that although it is classified within the genre of suspense and adventure in its technical file, I would catalog it within the genre of action and shooting, from my perspective it does not properly fall within the genre of suspense, the production does not show us a significant or constant suspense as to introduce it in that genre, perhaps there is a little suspense related to the time but nothing marked, so do not expect suspense in this production but a lot of action and headshots.
Story
For anyone who likes movies and knows the action genre this story that presents the film Kate will be familiar and known, we could say that it is based on a really trite story in the world of entertainment, however, with this I do not mean that it is not interesting. When a production joins in its trailer or synopsis a professional killer with a feeling of unstoppable revenge will be quite interesting for any fan of action and shooting.
This film reminds me of several action productions such as Lucy or Jhon Wick, without making an exhaustive comparison because the quality of the productions are different, the scenes of violence if it has certain similarities from my point of view, that quick shot to the head characteristic of the series of films of Jhon Wick we find it in Kate on several occasions, Although they occur less frequently, it gives a significant touch of violence to the action scenes, for minors it may be a pity but for adults who enjoy this genre, that violence that sometimes may seem somewhat excessive manages to be a good entertainment.

Definitely the action scenes are of quality and give us the expected entertainment for an action and shooting movie. I have always agreed that if the script does not present a significant plot or story, it should be complemented with good action scenes, in this case action scenes that make the viewer feel that emotion at the time of these well coordinated fights by the protagonist. Undoubtedly this is the most outstanding and positive aspect of this production the good scenes of action and shooting that Kate offers us.

Lo otro que me gusto es la violencia y las escenas de peleas cuerpo a cuerpo, bien explicitas. El villano si se ve a leguas quien es, pero pase un buen rato con Kate.
Es correcto, ahora hay muchos personajes femeninos en este tipo de películas también las disfruto bastante. Me ha sorprendido la actuación y como se ha adaptado está actriz a ese personaje. Una entretenida película
The movie is not a suspense filled one but I think it should be classified under the crime and action genre. Although I enjoyed the actions and the way Kate performed her role if I cant call her female version of John Wick then she should probably be Angelina Jolie in Mr & Mrs Smith.
The plot was good from the beginning to the end but it's well predictable right from the point she was poisoned and the point where she told Varrick she wants out.
But the truth to be told, I was entertained with the action and the shooting.
A good film, we feel the same way about the protagonist. I find it entertaining even with those limitations in the plot.

Buena ya sabes lo que opino sobre esta película y joder solo coas buenas se puede decir sobre un filme que entiende lo que el espectador quiere y sabe como desarrollar una historia que a pesar de que antes ya ha sido contada puede mantener su estilo y dejar al espectador con un buen sabor de boca.
